Vacationing with my husband in Catalonia in June this year. They settled us quickly and without any problems in a room located on the eighth floor and overlooking the city. Of course, it was very noisy from the road and we had to sleep with closed windows at night. And the air conditioner was also noisy enough so we turned it off periodically.
In general, we cleaned every day, but I can’t call this cleaning ideal because on the balcony a box of pizza we had eaten had been lying for two whole days. The bed was changed only once. The rooms themselves are very small and old, but we didn't go here to lie in the room. Therefore, we were not particularly upset about this.
There was a hairdryer in the room, but it turned out to be not working, we went to the reception and told us about it so quickly we had another one in return. And still there was not enough refrigerator, there was nowhere to put water to cool, neither fruit nor food that we bought. The same jamon that we love very much had nowhere to put.
For meals, we paid for breakfasts and dinners. Of course, there were no special delights, but in general there was enough of everything, besides, the abundance of fruits was very pleasing. There was meat and fish available.
Several times during the rest my husband and I took a glass of wine, and I must say that the prices for it here are quite democratic. However, there were always queues in the dining room whenever we tried to go there. We tried walking at different times, but the effect was the same. It's just that the hall itself is not designed for such a number of guests.
And we also really regretted not taking full board right away, once we just changed dinner for lunch because we were going to an evening show. The shops are all close to the hotel, very convenient. The sea is great and the beach is very clean. And the town itself is stunningly quiet.
We took one excursion from a hotel guide and one in the city and were amazed that the prices were generally the same. We were very, very satisfied with the rest.
If we talk about the overall impression, then on the whole we liked the hotel. And for the service in it, I immediately give a solid five. When we first arrived at the hotel, we were immediately greeted by a surprisingly friendly and charming girl named Alexandra. She explained everything to us in detail, gave us the keys and we immediately settled in. At the reception here, in general, many speak Russian, so there are no problems in this matter.
For the entire period at the hotel you can immediately order the so-called "tea set" for ten euros. It includes the kettle itself with cups, then coffee and tea, as well as cream and sugar. The room has a paid safe, for a week of use you have to pay 20 euros.
The refrigerator, in general, is also paid, but we did not specify the cost because we did not use it at all. The TV is modern plasma, but we never even turned it on. There is a large balcony, but there is nowhere to dry the clothes, so you have to take a rope with you. Everything in the room dries for a very long time. Opposite there is a hostel and many in the reviews wrote that there is too much noise from it. But in our time of rest, everything was quiet and calm there, maybe we were just lucky in this.
The room was cleaned daily, and bed linen and towels were changed regularly. They are generally snow-white and clean here. The bathroom had a bathtub itself, then a bidet, and another large mirror. There is a hairdryer and tiles, surprisingly everywhere, absolutely intact without chips.
I also give an A plus for food. There was a lot of everything - both fish and meat, a lot of fruits, and even in the morning they gave champagne. They are greeted in the restaurant like family, everyone is smiling, very nice and pleasant. Many thanks to them for such a constant warm welcome. We always went to the restaurant with great pleasure.
Since we lived in an economy room, there was no wi-fi at all, it was possible, in principle, to connect, but only for a fee. And downstairs in the hall and on the terrace, he catches well. On Mondays at half past nine in the evening, flamenco performers come to the hotel and give colorful performances. We went and we really liked it. There is no children's animation as such in the hotel, but in the evenings children dance in the hall if they want.
The sea is just wonderful, but until June 25, the water was very cold. Well, then it got warmer and everything became wonderful. Sometimes there were pleasant waves and a couple of times there was a strong wind. The sand on the beach is very coarse, but I think this is a wonderful foot massage.
The village in which we rested called Calella is an absolutely wonderful place, there is a sea nearby and shops nearby are full. And along the sea in the evenings it is very cool to stroll along the plane tree alley. We even got to an interesting festival there. In general, we are delighted with the rest and from Spain too! We decided this year with a friend to expand the circle of our rest, otherwise we all go to Turkey, Egypt, have been in Bulgaria, in Greece and also in Cyprus. Well, this year, in June, they took their children and waved to Spain - in the Costa del Maresme. In this country, of course, we rested for the first time, so we were reluctant to compare all the time - how there and how here. The four of us settled in an apartment, that is, it was a living room, then a bedroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom. There were two very small balconies, but I just warn you that you need to grab a rope with clothespins with you, because there is nowhere to dry the laundry here at all except on the railing. All rooms have absolutely new and of course serviceable furniture. In general, the room itself is beautifully decorated in gentle white-blue tones. In the bedroom there was a large double bed and in the living room there was a huge sofa which we immediately disassembled and then did not fold during the whole rest. Because of him, in fact, there was absolutely no room left in the room, we even turned to the reception to have a table temporarily taken from our room. Of course, they wrote down our request, but they did not fulfill it. Therefore, we just took the table and moved it to the corner, and therefore, well, at least a little more space became. And of course it was a bit cramped. There was only one very small locker for clothes and, of course, it was too small for four people. There was one more shelf and nothing more than a chest of drawers or a dressing table. There was absolutely nowhere to put things. The kitchen had a full set of dishes - plates, cups, glasses, a toaster, a juicer, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, all sorts of utensils and the like. For those who rest without food it is very convenient, there is everything you need to cook your own food. It is very bad that the apartments do not provide cleaning and garbage disposal. All this is carried out here for a fee. Don't want to pay, be prepared to wash the floors and take out the trash yourself. The bed linen was changed exactly a week later, but the towels could be changed as much as necessary. Be sure to take tees, extension cords, whatever you have with you here, because there are only two sockets for the whole room. The territory of the hotel, in fact, is not available at all. There is an adult pool and a kid's pool with a cute slide, they both close at seven in the evening and open only at nine in the morning. The adult pool is fenced off and of course the sunbeds are removed. And even if you want to borrow them at 6 in the morning, you will not succeed, because everything is closed. There is also a small courtyard with a small paid cafe. We ate pizza and pasta there several times. In the evenings we heard music playing there. But this is the very beginning of the season. From June 20, animators have appeared at the hotel. But all the performances and activities were very weak. The restaurant is also quite small, however, there have never been any problems with empty seats. Everything is always clean and tidy and the tables are cleaned. Everything was tasty and everything was enough for us - both fish and meat, there was of course ham, mussels, for dinners they always cooked something on the grill, there were sweet watermelons, cherries, apricots, melons, peaches, bananas, and a lot of other things. Delicious ice cream was a must for dinner. Personally, I was very pleased with the food, but my friend found the breakfasts very monotonous. Well, she shouldn't have been upset because they are essentially the same everywhere. But fortunately, every day at least something new for a change was added either pancakes or fried cheese. Well, everything was fine for me. All drinks at dinner were paid, but my friend and I did not take wine for ten euros if in a store nearby you could buy the same for two euros. Just a couple of minutes walk to the sea. The sea is very clean, but the water in June is still cool, and yet the main thing is to go in and there you get used to it. The beach is very clean and there were very few people at the beginning of June. This is what makes the most important difference from our past trips on vacation so it is in the organization of the collection and collection of tourists. Since Spain has very narrow streets and buses cannot get there, all tourists are dropped off at public transport stops, and there they have to get to the hotel themselves. And maybe someone else is useful - in the center of Calella there is a long shopping street, there are shops with souvenirs, clothes and cafes. There are shops where everything is really sold very cheaply. So we liked the rest, the hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay, and Calella itself is also a very calm and quiet city. Of course, young people will be bored here. Well, of course we fell in love with Spain! We hope to meet again!

I chose in a travel agency one of the many tourist areas under the sonorous name of Costa del Maresme, which is an hour's drive from Barcelona.

Vacationing with my husband in Catalonia in June this year. They settled us quickly and without any problems in a room located on the eighth floor and overlooking the city. Of course, it was very noisy from the road and we had to sleep with closed windows at night. And the air conditioner was also noisy enough so we turned it off periodically.
In general, we cleaned every day, but I can’t call this cleaning ideal because on the balcony a box of pizza we had eaten had been lying for two whole days. The bed was changed only once. The rooms themselves are very small and old, but we didn't go here to lie in the room. Therefore, we were not particularly upset about this.
There was a hairdryer in the room, but it turned out to be not working, we went to the reception and told us about it so quickly we had another one in return. And still there was not enough refrigerator, there was nowhere to put water to cool, neither fruit nor food that we bought. The same jamon that we love very much had nowhere to put.
For meals, we paid for breakfasts and dinners. Of course, there were no special delights, but in general there was enough of everything, besides, the abundance of fruits was very pleasing. There was meat and fish available.
Several times during the rest my husband and I took a glass of wine, and I must say that the prices for it here are quite democratic. However, there were always queues in the dining room whenever we tried to go there. We tried walking at different times, but the effect was the same. It's just that the hall itself is not designed for such a number of guests.
And we also really regretted not taking full board right away, once we just changed dinner for lunch because we were going to an evening show. The shops are all close to the hotel, very convenient. The sea is great and the beach is very clean. And the town itself is stunningly quiet.
We took one excursion from a hotel guide and one in the city and were amazed that the prices were generally the same. We were very, very satisfied with the rest.
If we talk about the overall impression, then on the whole we liked the hotel. And for the service in it, I immediately give a solid five. When we first arrived at the hotel, we were immediately greeted by a surprisingly friendly and charming girl named Alexandra. She explained everything to us in detail, gave us the keys and we immediately settled in. At the reception here, in general, many speak Russian, so there are no problems in this matter.
For the entire period at the hotel you can immediately order the so-called "tea set" for ten euros. It includes the kettle itself with cups, then coffee and tea, as well as cream and sugar. The room has a paid safe, for a week of use you have to pay 20 euros.
The refrigerator, in general, is also paid, but we did not specify the cost because we did not use it at all. The TV is modern plasma, but we never even turned it on. There is a large balcony, but there is nowhere to dry the clothes, so you have to take a rope with you. Everything in the room dries for a very long time. Opposite there is a hostel and many in the reviews wrote that there is too much noise from it. But in our time of rest, everything was quiet and calm there, maybe we were just lucky in this.
The room was cleaned daily, and bed linen and towels were changed regularly. They are generally snow-white and clean here. The bathroom had a bathtub itself, then a bidet, and another large mirror. There is a hairdryer and tiles, surprisingly everywhere, absolutely intact without chips.
I also give an A plus for food. There was a lot of everything - both fish and meat, a lot of fruits, and even in the morning they gave champagne. They are greeted in the restaurant like family, everyone is smiling, very nice and pleasant. Many thanks to them for such a constant warm welcome. We always went to the restaurant with great pleasure.
Since we lived in an economy room, there was no wi-fi at all, it was possible, in principle, to connect, but only for a fee. And downstairs in the hall and on the terrace, he catches well. On Mondays at half past nine in the evening, flamenco performers come to the hotel and give colorful performances. We went and we really liked it. There is no children's animation as such in the hotel, but in the evenings children dance in the hall if they want.
The sea is just wonderful, but until June 25, the water was very cold. Well, then it got warmer and everything became wonderful. Sometimes there were pleasant waves and a couple of times there was a strong wind. The sand on the beach is very coarse, but I think this is a wonderful foot massage.
The village in which we rested called Calella is an absolutely wonderful place, there is a sea nearby and shops nearby are full. And along the sea in the evenings it is very cool to stroll along the plane tree alley. We even got to an interesting festival there. In general, we are delighted with the rest and from Spain too! The hotel is wonderful!

We decided this year with a friend to expand the circle of our rest, otherwise we all go to Turkey, Egypt, have been in Bulgaria, in Greece and also in Cyprus. Well, this year, in June, they took their children and waved to Spain - in the Costa del Maresme. In this country, of course, we rested for the first time, so we were reluctant to compare all the time - how there and how here. The four of us settled in an apartment, that is, it was a living room, then a bedroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom. There were two very small balconies, but I just warn you that you need to grab a rope with clothespins with you, because there is nowhere to dry the laundry here at all except on the railing. All rooms have absolutely new and of course serviceable furniture. In general, the room itself is beautifully decorated in gentle white-blue tones. In the bedroom there was a large double bed and in the living room there was a huge sofa which we immediately disassembled and then did not fold during the whole rest. Because of him, in fact, there was absolutely no room left in the room, we even turned to the reception to have a table temporarily taken from our room. Of course, they wrote down our request, but they did not fulfill it. Therefore, we just took the table and moved it to the corner, and therefore, well, at least a little more space became. And of course it was a bit cramped. There was only one very small locker for clothes and, of course, it was too small for four people. There was one more shelf and nothing more than a chest of drawers or a dressing table. There was absolutely nowhere to put things. The kitchen had a full set of dishes - plates, cups, glasses, a toaster, a juicer, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, all sorts of utensils and the like. For those who rest without food it is very convenient, there is everything you need to cook your own food. It is very bad that the apartments do not provide cleaning and garbage disposal. All this is carried out here for a fee. Don't want to pay, be prepared to wash the floors and take out the trash yourself. The bed linen was changed exactly a week later, but the towels could be changed as much as necessary. Be sure to take tees, extension cords, whatever you have with you here, because there are only two sockets for the whole room. The territory of the hotel, in fact, is not available at all. There is an adult pool and a kid's pool with a cute slide, they both close at seven in the evening and open only at nine in the morning. The adult pool is fenced off and of course the sunbeds are removed. And even if you want to borrow them at 6 in the morning, you will not succeed, because everything is closed. There is also a small courtyard with a small paid cafe. We ate pizza and pasta there several times. In the evenings we heard music playing there. But this is the very beginning of the season. From June 20, animators have appeared at the hotel. But all the performances and activities were very weak. The restaurant is also quite small, however, there have never been any problems with empty seats. Everything is always clean and tidy and the tables are cleaned. Everything was tasty and everything was enough for us - both fish and meat, there was of course ham, mussels, for dinners they always cooked something on the grill, there were sweet watermelons, cherries, apricots, melons, peaches, bananas, and a lot of other things. Delicious ice cream was a must for dinner. Personally, I was very pleased with the food, but my friend found the breakfasts very monotonous. Well, she shouldn't have been upset because they are essentially the same everywhere. But fortunately, every day at least something new for a change was added either pancakes or fried cheese. Well, everything was fine for me. All drinks at dinner were paid, but my friend and I did not take wine for ten euros if in a store nearby you could buy the same for two euros. Just a couple of minutes walk to the sea. The sea is very clean, but the water in June is still cool, and yet the main thing is to go in and there you get used to it. The beach is very clean and there were very few people at the beginning of June. This is what makes the most important difference from our past trips on vacation so it is in the organization of the collection and collection of tourists. Since Spain has very narrow streets and buses cannot get there, all tourists are dropped off at public transport stops, and there they have to get to the hotel themselves. And maybe someone else is useful - in the center of Calella there is a long shopping street, there are shops with souvenirs, clothes and cafes. There are shops where everything is really sold very cheaply. So we liked the rest, the hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay, and Calella itself is also a very calm and quiet city. Of course, young people will be bored here. Well, of course we fell in love with Spain! We hope to meet again!
