About a sailing yacht trip in croatia. On a yacht in Croatia (Dubrovnik-Krka-Split) Exam week on a yacht in croatia

Dalmatia

Until this year, I had never traveled by sea. And then suddenly I was invited on a cruise. This time to Croatia. I make a decision in 1 minute, give the money and go on vacation for a week. October - in Moscow there are already cold nights, rains, first frosts, but here it is summer, gentle sun, warm sea, velvet nights ...

I rarely drive without some kind of landscape purpose. All trips are associated with your favorite work: exhibitions, conferences, seminars, gardens and parks ... I write articles about this on the site, talk about what I saw and learned. I also want to tell and show a photo about the trip to the Croatian islands in the Adriatic Sea. Of course, I tried to shoot various landscape techniques, urban and private landscaping, but the landscapes themselves, natural landscapes are an amazing show that inspires and inspires, and gives a powerful creative charge.

We've got a very nice group. Mostly Muscovites and 2 ladies from Gelendzhik. All people are very interesting and funny. We flew to Montenegro in Tivat. Even from the plane, one could see the mountainous terrain, where there are so few places suitable for life. The settlements are located mainly along the seashore and are connected by thin lines of roads. One by one, we went to Croatia, in the town of Slano we boarded our yacht "Enigma". The Russian flag was raised on the yacht especially for our group. The yacht has double cabins with shower rooms for 14 passengers and 4 crew members. Our team was also great. Croatian captain Ivica, his wife Alla, cook (cook) Neno, life-loving sailor Antonio. Neno prepared delicious meals for us and even delicious desserts. And Antonio infected everyone with his positive. Nobody could get bored next to him. Alla is a Muscovite, 5 years ago she went to rest in Croatia and met her future husband there. Now the yacht is their family business. I was amazed at how deftly and skillfully Alla handles any marine work. She stands at the helm, and gives off the ends, and drives the boat. Most importantly, you can see how she likes it all. She glows with happiness, and Captain Ivica glows, looking at her ...

There is no winter here, navigation is carried out all year round, but tourists tend to get to the islands in summer. It is not clear why? .. In the summer and we are good. But in spring, autumn and even winter it is pleasant to visit a warm country. In my opinion, Croatia and Montenegro have a lot of advantages over other resorts. There is a very comfortable climate here, not burning out the sun, amazingly clear water, friendly people. It feels like you are at home. Even the local speech is understandable, there are many words of the same root, similar to Russian. We easily communicated in Russian-Ukrainian-Croatian.

The southern islands and the coastal mainland of Croatia are called Dalmatia. Due to the rugged coastline, a huge number of views and breathtaking landscapes turned out. Without a yacht, of course, in this regard, the possibilities are very limited. On the Enigma we came to a new harbor every day and spent the night there. Sometimes we went somewhere in the middle of the day. We visited cities, villages, the best beaches, ancient fortresses, national parks. We also swam right from the board in the open sea. We even saw dolphins once. During the week we visited Dubrovnik, Split, Mljet and Lastovo, Hvar, Makarska, Korcula, Trstenik, Šipane, Slano, Bol.

Croatian coastal towns have their own special charm. They are always located on the terrain. Narrow streets run up. Everything is paved with stone. The stone houses are covered with red tiles. Pergolas twined with grapes everywhere, balconies in flowers. There is a central square with a church. And some ancient fortification often rises above the city. If you climb here, then magnificent panoramas will open before you. The towns sell wine, cheese, fruits, seafood. Bicycles can be rented. There are few cars. It seems that the population moves more by sea. They fish, go from town to town, take tourists.

Our daily routine was as follows:
- walked or swam in the sea before breakfast
- had breakfast at the stern
- went out to sea and sunbathed on the front deck
- dined on the yacht
- swam and sunbathed again
- moored in a new town (only once stood on the roadstead and got to the shore by boat)
- walked around the city, did shopping, dined

The rest turned out to be of such high quality that I completely forgot about work and all Moscow worries. I discovered a new and interesting opportunity - to travel on a yacht. This is an order of magnitude more exciting than overland. And so romantic! I would like to repeat this adventure soon and do it without fail outside the usual tourist season, when berths are free, prices are falling, and the weather in Dalmatia is always good. During the season, all cruises are bought out very well in advance, and at other times there is every chance to organize a vacation spontaneously. Some people like it so much, and I am one of them.
An interesting idea - short trips and corporate parties for a few days. You do not need a visa for the trip, and it takes only 3 hours to fly from Moscow to this heavenly place. Special thanks to TTS Partner Tour Operator for organizing the trip.

We call TTS Partner 495 6919159, buy plane tickets and get an unforgettable experience. Everything is very simple!

At night I returned from the most amazing holiday in my life! .. I heard that yachting is addictive. I believed in this ... Now everything in my head turned upside down and, probably, finally fell into place ... Yachting is, apparently, some kind of incurable disease that you get infected from the first careless time.

There is a completely crazy state inside, it is extremely difficult to describe it, putting it on the shelves - but I will try ... What exactly made me fall in love with this type of relaxation?

First, it is the sea. A huge, pure, bright blue, every day surrounds you with its omnipotent body and makes you want to get lost somewhere there and never return ... sail, and salty splashes poured over me with flying and swing ... Wet through and through, in jeans, a sweater and a jacket, I crawled out of there, staggering, as after violent sex - and I realized that this love is mutual, real and for a long time ...

Secondly, it is the yacht itself. The feeling that there are people next to you who can control this colossus, who, like magicians, can turn the sails, these pieces of matter, and make them obedient to their will, as if well-oiled mechanisms are something crazy ... Probably, I was some kind of wrong woman, as it often happens to me)) But I just organically could not sit inside, in the wardroom, when the Magic happens outside. When three or four people do the impossible. All these beacons, sails tossed, mooring in marinas ... "Fenders overboard", "Give up the mooring lines" ... Hands twisting winches, and the birth of energy from the air - for me it was real life! As a result of my stay-out sitting on the deck, my whole face is fucked up like a regular sailor. I've been sitting for the third hour under a thick layer of cream and trying to return myself to the state of a woman =)))

The third thing that captivated me in a yachting vacation is the variety. On the one hand, you are at the sea, you can swim in the cleanest and most beautiful places, wherever you want. On the other hand, you are somewhere in a new city every day. For Croatia - in a new piece of Europe. Distinctive towns, smiling people, coffee with milk ... Narrow streets paved with ancient stones, churches, parks, fountains ... You are not tied to a hotel with a pig-pig all-inclusive system. You are completely free. You can see half the country - or stay in the town you like for the whole time of your vacation. Your choice, your right.

But the most important thing in this vacation is the people. I don't know where else you can find such a warm, tuned-in company. If you go to rest in a hotel, you will marinate all the time in a company of two - a maximum of three people. There were ten of us here. Ten people, filtered by the very concept of "yachting". Adequate, smart, active and adventurous. I don’t remember the last time I felt so warm in my heart on vacation. When I laughed and talked so much. When every minute was filled with meaning ...

In general, I am in a state of damn sadness that everything is over. One week turned out to be insanely short - I want more, avidly and with trembling hands. Just the same breaking =)

This section discusses general issues such as what is a yacht vacation, what is the best choice of a motor or sailing yacht, who is a skipper, types of charter and yacht lease, yacht etiquette, standard terms of a yacht charter contract, how best to choose fellow travelers, sailing conditions along the Croatian coastline, weather conditions of the Adriatic Sea, etc. The cost of renting a yacht, if divided into a company of several people, is usually not more expensive and in some cases even cheaper than the price of staying in a 4-5 star hotel. The impressions you got while cruising along the coastline and across the islands are incomparable. Being a kind of floating hotel, the yacht in front of the hotel has many undeniable advantages. Compared to staying in a hotel where every day the same beach, the same view from the window, the same city - there is no monotony and boredom on a yacht trip. In just one or two weeks of sailing, you can visit many cities, islands, and attractions on the Adriatic coast, which cannot be seen living in a hotel or renting apartments on the coast. Only on a yacht can you get close to places that cannot be reached by ferry or passenger ship.

Yacht travel in Croatia

If you travel on a yacht across Croatia under sail in order to enjoy and just take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then just sail in the direction where the favorable wind blows, there will always be an island or a quiet closed bay on your way. Today you will stay in some place you like, and tomorrow you will move to another. The decision is made by you, as the hotel "room" moves with you and you have the freedom of choice. The style of sailing on a yacht depends only on your personal preferences and mood. If you like silence, then choose quiet coves on the islands or small villages, next to which you can always anchor. If you prefer the proximity of civilization and active entertainment, then you will moor in larger cities. The daily change of location is an undeniable advantage for those who travel by yacht. Today you can walk in the forests or olive groves of the island of Hvar, and the next day visit and see the palace of Emperor Diocletian in the city of Split, or simply enjoy the beauty of the clear sea and nearby islands. Moving from place to place, you will very quickly get used to greet the people who sail past you with your hand, greeting is such a yachting tradition that all yachtsmen adhere to. On the way of your voyage, you will definitely meet many new friends who will stay with you for a long time. Usually, during a cruise, sea crossings last no more than 4-8 hours. This mode allows you to enjoy sailing in the best way, to have time to see local sights and have time to plunge into the nightlife on the shore.

Every day the yacht moors to the marina, where the crew has the opportunity to relax and have fun on the shore or on board the boat. In addition, such a duration of day trips practically excludes the development of seasickness.

Yachting

Sailing is a great opportunity to acquire new unforgettable experiences and learn new skills. Sailing is the oldest and most respected skill in the maritime business. “Taming” a yacht is a pleasure for everyone who likes to feel and control the force of the wind, to stand at the helm, set and remove sails, and steer with the wind. To manage a sailing yacht, you need knowledge of sea navigation and technical features of the vessel's device, you need good physical fitness and quick reaction. Almost everyone who sailed on a yacht with a captain usually cannot resist the temptation to sail on their own, learn to knit sea knots and try to understand the intricacies of sailing. After swimming, you will be proud of the experience gained, which will always come in handy in everyday life, and most quickly your friends and acquaintances will quietly envy you. Take the opportunity to try and learn something new and have an unforgettable sailing experience.

How great it is to have people around you who push you to take decisive action.

One evening, at our place, my husband's colleagues suggested flying to Croatia, renting a yacht and going on a hike. Ha, everyone laughed and the case died out. But a month later, my mysterious husband came home from work, persuaded him to take a vacation, quickly pack up and trust him) I received answers to 1000 and 1 question in parts, as if I had participated in a quest) Instead of a suitcase, I was asked to take 2 hiking backpacks, so I decided to miss don't have to! And now all our friendly company on the plane, flight with transfers through Vienna, overboard - the beauty of Austria.

September was not chosen by chance: firstly, there is no such a full house at work as in summer and winter, and secondly, prices in September are lower than in high season, and there are no crowds of tourists either, and this is the main thing. In fact, the same service for less money, but the weather continues to please, the sea is not cold, the sun's rays warm, the sunrises are pleasing. In short, September is a pretty good month for a cruise.

Acquaintance with Croatia, Split airport, port, first trip and overnight stay

Soft landing at the airport of Split (Central Dalmatia), security passed, we are loaded in a taxi (12 euros / car), we got 15.50 euros to the port, we are on the spot) We met the captain of the yacht (speaks excellent Russian, knows 5 languages, I managed to practice with him even in German)

The route was developed by our beloved men, and the weak half of humanity, that is, we, trusted, especially since none of the Lady understands anything about sailing on a yacht. On the spot, the captain of the yacht made adjustments to our route, we loaded up and departed from the shore. I will make a reservation right away, renting a yacht for a week came out at 1800 euros, there were 4 married couples, the budget was common. Frankly, my soul was overwhelmed with emotions: fear, and adrenaline, and buzz, and joy mixed with experiences, because there is something new and unknown ahead.

Split was impressive, but this town is similar to many European cities, with old churches, narrow quiet streets, small cafes and insanely delicious fish dishes. We were leaving the port, emotions were overwhelming, the flight was planned back from Split, therefore it was planned to study the city in detail on the way back.

Having completely trusted the captain of the yacht, I plunged into thoughts, examined the expanses of the Adriatic. Until recently, I didn’t even dream of sailing on a yacht, but now we are on a yacht and drive to meet our dreams. On the way, there are ships, cruise liners, birds sit on the railing of the yacht, cozy islands - and absolutely everyone wants to get off and see with their own eyes.

A beautiful sunset, fragrant wine, a divine dinner (downstairs in the dining room) with a guitar ... It seemed that this was a dream and all this was not with me)

For the first time in my life I spent the night on a yacht, I will tell you, very much even nothing! You sleep at home, the salty smell of the wind, the sea, you don't want to wake up ...

The morning of the next day began with a fishing trip. Oh, this is mega fun! A special drive when the fish can be pulled out, and twice as pleasant if cooked)

When traveling, I love independence, and I was very worried that in a week on a yacht we would not bother each other, but we even managed to miss our friends and did not always intersect.

Yacht. Primosten and Trogir

Our weekly route consisted of 4 cities and intermediate small villages: Split, Trogir, Primosten and Marina. Didn't notice how we got to Primosten. Narrow streets, old churches (which is remarkable, they are open around the clock - this is nonsense for us. You can enter even at 23.00.

Fish markets, fresh seafood, small cafes, beautiful cozy beaches (mostly free) and thousands of yachts with the same tourists on board as we do)

Such a snack for one cost us 4.5 euros.

There are many fishermen on the shore, with whom you can exchange a few phrases. The older generation is not inferior to the younger generation either: it is nice to see how the old woman herself in the boat on the oars catches fish, drags nets and fiddles. We even managed to talk to her, she told us amazing recipes for fish dishes

The beaches surprised us with their cleanliness: Primosten is perhaps the only city where the free beaches are clean and comfortable. After 20.00, you can take a sunbed for free, lay a blanket, settle down and relax.

In general, our rest turned out to be so easy, carefree in one breath. Here, even ordinary walls are beautiful, with drop-down tables built into them, and you can have a snack along the way. I recommend latte, espresso (a large glass will cost 2.5-3 euros).

The beaches of Primosten with rocky shores, uneven slopes in some places, daring wildlife reminded me of the beaches of Migeya (Ukraine, rafting resort). Here, by the way, there is also a raft.

And did the odorous ate on the rocks ?! This fragrance is incomparable: both delicate and daring, like the warmth of brown eyes.

Primosten is a historical town, with some sights at every step.

What to dine on - charcoal-dried pork dishes. Dinner with salads. ham and wine for 8_x cost us 137 euros.

Primosten was so impressed that the council decided to pay for a simple yacht and spend the night on land.

There were many hotels, they were chosen based on reviews and pricing policy. The choice fell on Villa Lorenta, a few kilometers from the city center and 50 meters from a beautiful rocky beach. The hotel has the opportunity to eat on their own in their mini-kitchen, you can stock up on groceries in the supermarket, or you can arrange for the delivery of groceries.

The apartment cost 55 euros for 4_x, rented 2 rooms for 4 people.

We met the sunset on the rocks of a rocky beach, extraordinary beauty. We chatted, dreamed and came to the conclusion that this is the most crazy vacation, filled with impressions and positive. It was so good on the rocks there that I didn't want to go to the hotel, or home, or even to our yacht. Despite the active pastime on vacation, this time we only did what we relaxed, and this lapotaaaaa did not bother!

The next morning we had a haste breakfast and went to the port to our yacht. The captain was already preparing to leave, we loaded up, threw coins to return and began to retreat.

Our path lay in Trogir, we did not have time to look back and we are already in this cozy small town, which is famous not only for viticulture, but also for the design of yachts.

There are very cool fish restaurants and delicious dishes such as fish plateau (big enough dish, perfect for white wine). Dinner for two cost us 48 euros.

I advise you to set aside at least a day for a walk around the city, visit the town hall, the Gothic church on the 14th century embankment, the cathedral, and be sure to pay attention to the Camerlengo (this is an old fortress with a stunning view of the Old Town).

Saying goodbye to the captain, thanking them, we went to dinner at a local restaurant. The husbands also visited the pub. At prices -

acceptable, a glass of beer -2/4 euros.

After dinner, we rented a car (70 euros) and drove off to Marina, in order to then go to the airport in Split. It was decided to spend the night there in the Marina Mila apartment. The village of Marina itself is small, there is a fairly good infrastructure, there is a hypermarket, a pub, 2 restaurants, a cafe, you can buy cheap vegetables, fruits and seafood at the local market. The beaches are shallow with pebbles, but clean and comfortable.

Our guest house consisted of 7 complexes, cozy and fairly spacious terraces and a huge swimming pool.

We rented 3 rooms (apartments): a room for 4, and 2 rooms for two. So I wanted romance, money allowed, therefore, my husband and I decided to spend the night separately).

Marina Split. Homecoming

The week passed quickly. Behind so much positive, bright colors, indescribable sensations, drive of emotions ...

I didn't want to, but I had to return to Split. The road took 25 minutes (from the Marina to the airport 14 km).

We walked around the city, there are so many yachts that I wanted to drop everything and drive back to the sea, but alas ...

At home, work and routine awaited, we took pictures, had lunch and went to registration ...

Lunch (hot tomato soup with rice) cost 18 euros for two.

Work to travel, enjoy your vacation, taste the national cuisine. Croatian cuisine is full of variety and will satisfy the most demanding gourmet. What I have personally tried, I also advise you: Pašticada (beef stewed in wine, served with dumplings, tomato soup with rice and Sarma (cabbage rolls) - delicious food worth trying, fish plateau, desserts, white wine ...

It was the best sailing trip in Croatia. Come back here unambiguously: a flurry of emotions that no trip abroad will give you.

Route: Trogir - about. Šolta - about. Vis - about. Hvar - about. Saint Clement (Marina Palmisana) - Fr. Korcula - about. Lastovo-about. Mljet - Dubrovnik

Traveling around Croatia on a sailing yacht is an adventure that you will surely want to repeat. The warm sea, the endless blue sky overhead and the fast yacht moving on its intended course ... what could be better? Perhaps only a stopover in the marinas of small and large islands of hospitable Croatia! By signing up for this sailing yacht trip, you will be the first to see Trogir.
This ancient city was founded by the Greeks, about three centuries BC. Historians claim that Trogir is one of the very few cities where ancient buildings from the times of Roman rule and the Gothic era in architecture have been perfectly preserved. Thousands of tourists come here to admire the unique monuments of antiquity. We will also stop here, because the old town is just a five-minute walk from the marina. The Venetian Kamerlengo Tower, Chipiko Palace and other significant sights of the city will remain in your memory for a long time, and cozy restaurants and taverns in Trogir will delight you with delicious national cuisine.

After seeing the sights and having a little refreshment, we will go to the island of Vis. Here travelers are welcomed by the village of Komiza, where there are many interesting expositions in the fishing museum. In addition, Vis is an island that stands out among other well-groomed beaches of fine sand and pebbles. Vis was once of great strategic importance, so in addition to excellent beaches and restaurants with Mediterranean cuisine, there are many interesting fortifications.

The next stop on the sailing yacht trip is the island of Hvar. The island is called the sunniest place in Croatia, because heavy rains are very rare here. And Hvar is also considered one of the largest centers of nightlife and a wide variety of entertainment, which makes it one of the most visited islands in the Adriatic Sea.

Having appreciated the cultural life and sights of Hvar at its true worth, we go further to Palmisana. They say this holiday destination is popular even with members of the royal family of the United Kingdom. True, we were unable to find photographic evidence of this fact. But the following fact is beyond doubt: Palmisana is an excellent choice if you like to sunbathe, lying in a comfortable sun lounger on the golden sand, by the warm blue sea. Very, very beautiful place!

After Palmisana, the island of Korcula awaits us. It is rightfully called the pearl of Croatia. Oddly enough, he became so only after Korcula was captured ... by the Venetians. It happened back in 1420. Warlike, but economic natives of Venice made a great contribution to the architecture of the city-state. Imagine a picturesque old town surrounded by lush greenery. And in the very center of this splendor is the Cathedral of St. Mark. It took over a hundred years to build! The island is amazingly beautiful: olive groves and pomegranate trees grow around the ancient buildings, souvenir shops and small cafes work all year round in narrow streets ... And the most famous inhabitant of Korcula was the famous traveler Marco Polo. It is very easy to guess about it here - many streets of the city are named after him.

The sailing trip in Croatia will continue with a visit to the island of Lastovo. Its coastline is indented with many secluded coves, and if you look into the village nearby, you will be amazed at the variety of chimneys. One gets the impression that every house in the village of Lastovo has its own pipeline project!

Then we will visit the island of Mljet. Here we are waiting for the Big and Small lakes, dense greenery of the reserve and its winding paths, a rich underwater world and the opportunity to surf, ride a kayak or kayak ... or just go fishing. Mljet enchants with its beauty, forcing to grab the camera almost every minute.

Following him, the sailing yacht journey will continue with the entrance to the marina off the Dubrovnik island. Its beaches Lapad and Banje are well known to experienced tourists, and the city itself evokes only warm feelings. Since the 14th century, Dubrovnik has become the center of cultural life and trade in Croatia, successfully competing even with Venice. The time of rapid growth and mixing of cultures has left its mark on the appearance of city streets: in addition to well-groomed beaches, there are hundreds of old buildings that are asking to be the host of the artist.

To see all this with your own eyes, to spend your vacation in an unusual and interesting way, join us. A sailing yacht trip in Croatia takes two whole weeks full of pleasant impressions!
