The most memorable event this summer is fishing with dad. We have long wanted to go to the river together, but it just doesn't work out. In the morning we collected tackle, fishing rods, our lunch and hit the road. When my parents started their vacation, they also came to the village. And yet, my loud joy from each caught fish did not interfere - we returned to dinner with an excellent catch and in the evening everyone ate fried fish with gusto, which my grandmother cooked according to her secret recipe.
So two weeks passed, and it was time to return home. This happened because I felt that I really missed my uncle and aunt, my cousin, although before we often quarreled, and sometimes even fought. I was very glad to see them, and I prepared a separate surprise for each, depending on their tastes and hobbies.
And this summer, my parents and I spent part of their vacation together (it's so good that mom and dad have the same!). In the early morning we got into the car and went on a trip to the sea. But the sea was the final goal of our voyage, before getting there, we stopped in different cities, examined local sights, went to museums. How dissimilar sea air to our city! There is absolutely no dust in it, it is clean and saturated with salt, it is so easy to breathe here. Yes, it's a pity that you can't live here your whole life. However, locals say that in winter the sea is not attractive at all, it is dark and cold. So it’s perhaps a good thing that my dream is still only a dream.
And, of course, in the summer I read a lot. On the way, e-books helped me out, but at home - real ones. They say that today young people read little, but this is not so. We are different, and there are many among us who want to learn new things, plunge into the past, think and cry. This, of course, is possible with the help of films, but still I prefer books, because only with them you can give free rein to your imagination, imagine the images of heroes, and not look at them, like in a movie. You can put the book aside on the most intriguing page and indulge yourself in anticipation and anticipation. Therefore, over the summer I read two dozen new books, getting great pleasure from what I read.
I spent the last days of my summer at home helping my mother, mastering new recipes from cookbooks. After all, very soon adult life awaits me, and I need to enter it prepared. Cooking is our family hobby, my grandmothers, my mother cook very tasty, and I also want to keep up with them.
