Exhibit(Czech. Výstavište) - an exhibition complex in the northern part of Prague, built for the 1891 Zemsky Jubilee Exhibition. Nowadays, the complex includes more than ten objects that are used for exhibition projects, cultural and entertainment events. There are also a number of tourist attractions here.

The Zemsky Jubilee Exhibition of 1891 was an event of a grand scale. The organizers wanted to demonstrate the success of the scientific and technical process and the achievements of the national economy on the territory of the Czech lands, which at that time were part of Austria-Hungary. To a certain extent, the Zemskaya exhibition was supposed to show everything that Czechs can be proud of and strengthened on national identity, the rise of which was outlined in the middle of the 19th century.

Peculiarities
The internal exhibition space consists of seven pavilions with an area of 35 thousand square meters, designed for fairs, exhibitions, sporting events, concerts, conferences, seminars and presentations. The directions of the events concern entertainment, sports, design, the beauty industry, the latest technologies, business and many other topics. The maximum size of the exhibition space for large exhibitions can reach 130 thousand square meters.
PVA EXPO PRAHA really has everything you need to organize technically demanding events. The complex has VIP rooms for negotiations, restaurants, cafes, dressing rooms, recreation areas, a press center, a business center, a conference hall with a capacity of 30 and 150 people and a congress hall with a capacity of 650 people.
In terms of transport, the exhibition center is more than accessible: there are bus stops, the metro terminus (line C) and the international Letňany, which accepts small planes, and there is also an entrance from the D8 motorway (direction Teplice, Dresden and Berlin). Drivers have their own ample parking space, in addition, visitors to the exhibition center can use the adjacent P + R parking near the metro station.
Major events of 2017
BRICK REPUBLIC
From April to June, inclusive, the exhibition center hosts the fifth annual interactive exhibition of LEGO bricks. This year, the organizers plan to use 2 thousand square meters of work space, which will house figures from 15 million parts. Lovers of fortresses and castles will appreciate the scale models of famous Czech landmarks, including the Cathedral of St. Vitus, National Museum with its exhibitions, Lednice and Karlštejn castles. Everyone can take a memorable photo with their favorite characters, which are represented by Harry Potter, Terminator, Edward Scissorhands, Snow White, characters from Star Wars, Marvel and DC. Young visitors also receive a passport confirming the citizenship of the BRICK REPUBLIC country, and become participants in exciting games.
MAGNETIC festival
Twice a year (in May and December) a unique festival is held with the participation of the flagships of the world of electronic music. During the festival, the exhibition center turns into a huge dance floor (with a capacity of up to 10 thousand people) with the most modern sound and lighting equipment. For Bikes
In spring, PVA Expo Praha traditionally hosts one of the largest fairs - For Bikes, which is dedicated to cycling. As part of the event, guests will find not only an exhibition, but also an entertainment program with competitions. In addition, during For Bikes, there is a free rental of sports equipment, with which guests can try their hand at cycling, and a special children's area.
Wine Prague
At the end of May, the international wine fair Wine Prague will take place in Prague, aimed at the professional community and attracting new customers to the Czech market. The beginning of September is the time of the largest annual car show in the Czech Republic. The festival is dedicated to sports, racing and tuning cars, so it gathers not only professionals, but also a large number of amateur motorists. The event is usually accompanied by a rich entertainment program: children will especially like game consoles, simulations and contests; adults will be able to test an electric car and take part in other outdoor car rides.
The Czech Exhibition Center Vystaviste Prague is located at a distance from the center on the left-bank part of the city. Tourists are interested in the complex Výstaviště several objects, the leading among which are the famous Křižíkov fountains with their light and music performances.
History of education Exhibit
The complex with pavilions and fountains was created for a special occasion - for an industrial exhibition that was held in the Czech Republic in 1891.
Thanks to this event, the inhabitants of Prague acquired several interesting objects that are still used today and are the sights of Prague.
The eastern part of the former royal reserve was used to equip the exhibition area. The entire reserve was divided into a park area with the Letohraděk palace, which is known by its name, and into a square where exhibition objects were built.
At the end of the exhibition, some of the objects were relocated to other areas of the city. So the observation tower headed the hill, and there was also, and the pretentious Hanavsky pavilion adorned the city park.
But also Výstaviště they were not deprived of architectural and technical finds, so the complex continued its active life after the exhibition. In the days of Czechoslovakia, it was called the Julius Fucik Culture and Recreation Park, and with the change in the state structure of the Czech Republic, they returned to the previous name.
Exhibition complex objects
Currently, the center of Vystaviste remains the Industrial Palace, erected for that anniversary exhibition of the late 19th century.
Bedrich Münzberger designed the building with the original clock tower. In his project, the architect combined several styles, therefore, the Industrial Palace belongs to the style of historicism. The modern facade of the building lost some details during the reconstruction in the 1950s. So, there is no longer a portal decorated with statues. But similar architectural elements have been preserved on the opposite side of the palace, which is the backdrop for water-musical performances:

Not so long ago, the strongest tests took place for the Industrial Palace, in the halls of which exhibition events are still held. In 2008, a fire broke out at one of the stands, which led to a large fire. As a result, the left wing of the building was badly damaged. Pay attention to the previous photo and compare how strikingly the right and left sides of the building differ.

Behind the main buildings, you can also see the classic attributes inherent in many recreation parks - the Ferris wheel and other attractions. It is difficult to say anything about their relevance. Lines in Vystaviste are usually observed at the descent to the Křižík fountains.
How to get there
The Prague Exhibition Center is also called Vystaviste Holesovice or Holesovice ( Výstaviště Holešovice) by its location. Therefore, to get to the complex, you need to come to the Holesovice district, which belongs to Prague-7. The easiest way is to take the metro and get to the Nádraží Holešovice station, located on the C line. Then change to a tram and go one stop to Výstaviště (№ 12, 17, 24).

Big events at PVA EXPO PRAHA
In 2017 alone, the Letняany Expo Center hosted several major Czech and international events.
This is the name of the interactive exhibition of models made from Lego sets, which takes place in the Czech Republic every year. In 2017, the organizers of the exhibition needed 2,000 square meters to place models on this territory, for which a total of 15 million Lego pieces were required. Lovers of this constructor were presented with large models of famous sights of Prague and the Czech Republic: Karlštejn and Lednice castles, the building of the National Museum and its exposition, St. Vitus Cathedral. Also on display were models of characters from modern popular culture: Harry Potter, The Terminator, heroes of Star Wars and cult comics, Snow White, Edward Scissorhands. Guests could take pictures with their favorite characters, and children received a BRICK REPUBLIC passport and participated in fun games. 
MAGNETIC festival. This is a large electronic music festival that takes place twice a year, in spring and winter. It brings together well-known and topical artists, and during the days of its holding PVA EXPO PRAHA will transform into a huge dance floor that can accommodate up to 10,000 people. The dance floor is equipped with modern sound and lighting equipment. For ten hours, electronic musicians from different countries participate in a colorful show. The Magnetic Festival is one of the most popular events among European fans of this kind of music.
For Bikes. Every spring, the exhibition center hosts a major bicycle fair For Bikes. Its program includes not only an exhibition of products from the cycling industry, but also entertainment with sports competitions. On the days of the fair, guests are offered free rental of bicycles and related equipment for visitors to try their hand at cycling. A separate play area is created for children.
Wine Prague. At the end of spring, Letняany hosted an international wine fair for industry professionals, whose goal was to develop the Czech wine market and attract new customers to the country. From the moment of its opening, the Prague-Holesovice Exhibition Complex has become one of the basic social, technical, cultural and sports centers in Prague. The large plot of land on which the complex is located originally belonged to Prague. Due to its location and easy accessibility, it was chosen to host the anniversary exhibition about Prague. Many years later, it was transferred to the ownership of the city district of Prague 7 together with the property standing on it.
Currently, the Prague-Holesovice exhibition complex is optically divided into two parts, the upper part is mainly occupied by buildings for various purposes, the lower one is rich in green spaces and sights. You can get from one part to the other by a staircase located on both sides of the Industrial Palace. Over the years, the appearance of the exhibition complex has gradually changed, until today, and, in addition to fulfilling its original function, it has also become a permanent attraction in Prague of international importance for many tourists.
The emergence of the exhibition complex and the First Republic: Exhibition complex Prague-Holešovice
As already mentioned, the exhibition complex was created with the aim of organizing a jubilee exhibition in 1891. For this event, the main exhibition buildings were built - the Industrial Palace, the Lapidarium of the National Museum and the Křižíkova fontána (Singing Fountains). In addition, it was necessary to build a number of small ancillary buildings: a restaurant, catering establishments, and others, which house the technical and administrative administration. One word was needed for the exhibition giant to build the infrastructure.
Soon the Machine-Building Palace was added to the Industrial Palace on the site of today's Tipsport Arena, and the Maroldovo panorama was built as a cultural dessert. Every year, the exhibition complex hosts exhibitions and other events of international importance and recognition.
