Hi all.
I hope this review will be an alternative to many good reviews written on this site about this hotel. It will help you make the right choice depending on what you expect from Turkey and from a 5-star hotel. Of course, everyone has their own holiday and expectations, and everyone has their own idea of Turkey and 5 stars. We also had it based on 6 previous trips to different resorts in Turkey since 2008. For my wife, this hotel and trip was the first to this country, well-known to all tourists from Russia.
I will write chronologically so that you have a complete idea of what we faced and experienced.
We went on vacation spontaneously, on Saturday evening via the Internet, by calling the tour operator 1001 Tour (aka Tez Tour, aka Troika) at Belorusskaya metro station. We were billed for 1 week with a child aged 1 year and 10 months and for immediate departure and departure in 6 hours 107 thousand rubles (speaking of hot trips to Turkey.. they are no longer available). With this money we could buy in advance a vacation with Aeroflot to Greece or Spain for a period of a week to two, depending on the hotel. Due to the specifics of my work and the urgent vacation window, I had to overpay for the sun, sea for my child and wife, taking into account ULTRA All Inclusive :)
Having collected two suitcases, having received tickets, vouchers, and insurance from tour 1001 on Saturday evening by email, we set off by car to Vnukovo airport. Having arrived 2 hours before departure, having stood in line, as we thought, our flight learned that it had been postponed. Later, other passengers on the same flight informed us that they could not fly on our flight from 2 am. Those. We arrived at 11 for an already rescheduled flight that was supposed to leave at 5 in the morning. And in fact it turned out that the flight was postponed 5 times.
I dare say I didn’t know about the airline ifly before, and they coped with the flight delay perfectly, water with and without gas was provided without problems, there were also coupons for hot meals in the amount of 400 rubles at the MU-MU fast food restaurant inside the departure area, where food choices were limited. We refused to eat, Vnukovo has free service for children, they played well in a small playroom, and airport staff told parents about the status of flights. Everything is fine.. only we took off at 17:30 instead of the last announced 16:45!!!
People were angry, especially those who, as it seemed to them, had been saving for at least 1-2 years for this trip.
I would like to note that a 1001tour employee was in touch with me and she clarified what was happening and how she could help us.
Hurray, we're flying!!! Everything would seem to be in the past and we will now fly in and go eat at a super 5 star where ultra everything is there!
Arriving and quickly passing through security, which surprised me, it used to be much longer. We found our little Pazik Tez tour and sat down to wait for those who had not yet found their suitcase. After half an hour, I raised a question among the passengers, why Tez Tour representatives cannot call those who have not yet arrived and ask why they are not there.. to which the answer was.. they have to wait 2 hours.. and we with babies suffer and wait along with them.. The people we were waiting for, apparently having taken a taxi, were already drinking cocktails, and the employees in yellow T-shirts finally decided to go to the hotels. Ours was the last.
Check-in went well, quickly... room with a view of the bazaar and other hotels 200 meters away. On the 4th floor. We are glad. Super.. We want to eat some food already. We go to the reception and get access to wifi through our email. And we understand that there will be problems with food, and there is no smell of ultra... The cocktails are clearly from local moonshine, which is used for any type of aperitif.
The room was equipped perfectly, I slept well. After getting some sleep, we went for breakfast. The dining room is huge, people are rushing around, children are crying... in general, essentially food needs to be looked for and chosen, we were afraid to eat 80% of what was there. The child ate only sausages, sometimes pancakes and, of course, watermelon. Out of 10 plates, the first 8 are usually dirty, where there is a long line of boiling water and our tourists wash their own forks and knives. Because they're just baked meat or something... Everything is dirty. The coffee machines made cappuccino without milk, because... it ran out quickly, and the next refill was only in the morning of the next breakfast. The water that is supplied to the coffee machines through ordinary hoses from the wall, I hope it is filtered somewhere.
This is where my indignation began, namely, asking for cappuccino for me and my wife, while feeding a small child, the person who sets the tables answered me: -No service! Go yourself, we won’t carry it for you. Although I later found another one and he still brought it to us. I was surprised by the 5 stars and we had to rush to get coffee in another part of the dining room.. It’s just that in other hotels before, we were always offered one or another drink.. and this was included in the 5 star resort hotels in Turkey.
As in many hotels, we were given cards to get towels for them. And this is only in the spa under the reception, where we were offered to cleanse our skin before tanning for 30 bucks per person. Here I will briefly say that we were washed (like peeling) with a washcloth and soaped with foam. We were outraged and they gave us a scrub with oil (for free)! I do not recommend going to this spa!
The hotel has an area the size of 3 football fields, and you can only take a towel to the SPA!!! It’s simply not convenient with a small child, and even to take it only there!!! By the way, we later learned that we can exchange dirty things for clean ones near our building near the Relax pool, in which the Turks made a relaxation area for their own. And it is not advisable to see children under 16 there, Turks who are on vacation immediately call and swear, the uncle guard comes and kicks you out with the children. They have their own view of relaxation.
There is no music at all, and if there is, it is only for the gathering of people by incompetent animators who showed depraved dances for children in the evening program, I don’t want to say more about it. They could have played some lounge or dance tracks for the background all day long.
The hotel has excellent slides, a great area for children, ours was happy, I have a small comment about the hotel! First, for some reason they turned off the water after 16:00 in the shallow area of the slides for children from 0 years old. So, riding on hot plastic is not possible and is dangerous. As for the big slides, when they are turned off, children run on them and climb up them, this is, of course, not the hotel’s problem, but the parents who do not monitor their children.
We learned that in one of the hotels in Belek, a visiting family’s girl immediately went into the pool, and soon she felt ill... she died right at the reception... Horror, the authorities, I think, will sort it out and establish the reasons.
Doctors here start from 100 bucks, the child has a fever!? Do you need a doctor? Prepare 100 bucks. We are prepared. We didn't need a doctor!
Now I’ll tell you about the sea, it’s not prepared! It's terrible! The thing is that the hotel is located along a river in which thousands of mosquitoes are born and poisoned every day. Something is clearly being floated down this river and obviously ending up in the sea...
The beach is equipped with a football field and volleyball field. There is a parachute behind the boat and a banana. It has its own kitchen and you can have lunch right there. Beer, juices, fruits are all good. There are no waiters and no one will bring you beer, as was the case in other hotels before. I would even be ready to give a couple of bucks, but there is no one. The staff is a total disaster!!! There aren’t any, and those that exist don’t want to do anything for tourists.
For example, when a child falls asleep after lunch. They came to clean the room, and two things struck me. One day a man quietly knocked on our door, we were sleeping... He opened the door silently, but quietly, walked through... opened our refrigerator, filled it with free soft drinks and left.
And the next day a Turkish maid came, I opened the door for her and said, the room needs to be cleaned, but later... we have a small child and my wife are sleeping.. The answer amazed me.. and this is 5 STARS! - Just now or today I won’t clean it up. I sent her, 2 hours later I asked the reception to urgently clean the room, which was done. Subsequently, the room was cleaned by a girl who spoke Russian well. We had complaints about her. The room was always clean.
Alcohol, except beer and wine, is served only in 2 bars. At the main pool and at the reception. Dear people! If they sell you Ultra All Inclusive! Don't look at this! Everything is local everywhere, and if you need Extra!! Those. for money.. they will do it for you with pleasure.
The bar at the reception amazed me; in the evening my wife and I decided to drink a glass of Mojito!!! We chose a table, there were already glasses with the remains of cocktails on it.. In front of us, the waitress took these glasses and carried them to the bar.. we followed her.. We asked for a Mojito.. And then I just turned gray.. Bartender! She took the same ANOTHER used glasses with chewed lemons and mint, added ice, black sugar and alcohol with Sprite... and calmly gave these glasses to me. I took it and went to look for the boss, to swear.. No one apologized, he scolded them in his own language.. but the conversation was as follows (I think): - How did you mess up so much, why didn’t you make a normal Mojito? “She threw these glasses under my arm, I don’t have time, there are a lot of these Russians and they drink all the time!” -Quickly make a new mahito and give it to this one that’s standing next to it.
And these are all friends.. Türkiye 5 Stars, the best resort Belek!
The flight was delayed.. A representative of the Tez Tour company told us that departure from the hotel is not at 16:00, but at 20:50. Check out from the hotel at 12 noon... everything else is at your expense. Get ready to pay money. Extension until 18:00 costs 60 Euro. Notice those are not dollars, but Euros! IMHO Turkey has been striving for the Euro for a long time, or will compensate for losses.. The tour does not pay for anything, this can be compensated after the vacation.. at home.. by writing a complaint to the Lawyers.. and wait.. I’ll deal with it later. And now about restaurants!
There are 5 restaurants on site, 3 of which are free by appointment. 2 of them are 10 Euros per nose.. for the service that brings you coffee, teas and alcohol. So We chose Italy first.. Carpaccio, fettuccine, tiramisu.. wine from 45 Euro per bottle from Pyaterochka... In general, the joint was huge, they brought the children pasta with a very spicy sauce, after which I drank water for a long time.. Our child is still poorly explained in words.. but after eating the makoronina, he had wild eyes and screamed with tears from the pepper in his mouth and lips.. Even though I asked for food in good English and duplicated in Russian, I won’t arrange food for the children. The waitress took these plates and brought them back 5 minutes later... thinking that Pepper was very Hot... it's hot. For 3 times I explained to the head of this restaurant that spicy food is like salt in a wound for a 2 year old child. We didn’t even go to the fish store... as it turned out there were a lot of people like us... and everyone we talked to was of the same opinion that there are only 2-3 stars here.
Draw conclusions. We also met satisfied residents of our motherland from Lipetsk, Volgograd and Taganrog... who were simply happy with their stay in this hotel. Without Service 5 stars!

As noted in tourist reviews, the Crystal Paraiso Verde Hotel (Belek) is a rare exception when, during the construction of the complex, the landscape was not changed to suit the needs of the resort, but vice versa. It is not located on the coast, like most buildings in Belek or its suburbs, but on the banks of a river that flows into the sea just a few tens of meters away. This is very unusual, and, as a rule, resorts are not built this way, but the Turks managed to turn the disadvantages into advantages in this situation, because it is not every day that you can see how the waters of a freshwater reservoir, having traveled a long way across the land, unite with the sea element, becoming part of it.
Not all guests of the Crystal Paraiso Verde hotel in Belek (see photo below) consider this location convenient, since it takes 10-12 minutes to get to the beach, going around the river along the way. At the same time, they forget to mention that a small tractor with a trailer departs from it, which takes everyone right to the coast, which the children and their parents are incredibly happy about, happy that they do not have to walk with them in the heat.

- Dissatisfied with the holiday. If we compare the reviews of tourists vacationing in Turkey in different years at the Crystal Paraiso Verde Resort Hotel (Belek), we can notice a tendency for their intonation to decrease from an enthusiastic to a moderately restrained level. Of course, when a hotel is new, everything in it corresponds to 5-star quality, but over time, not only the decor and interior deteriorate, but also the surrounding appearance changes. Today, construction is underway on one side of the resort, and everyone whose windows overlooked such an unpresentable spectacle spoke negatively about this fact.
- About 50% of people rated the quality of their room as “good”. Indeed, it is suitable for families with children, energetic youth, and athletes. Family rooms with bunk beds for children and standard apartments are equipped with upholstered furniture, a refrigerator, which is regularly replenished with Sprite, Coca-Cola and delicious local mineral water, bathrooms with all necessary accessories, all this is available in each building hotel. Air conditioning, satellite TV and change of bed linen three times a week meet the requirements of not too picky clients, although many vacationers claim that the Hotel Crystal Paraiso Verde (Belek) is no longer worthy of 5 stars.
- Reviews from satisfied tourists about the rooms relate, first of all, to the fact that they are cleaned, although not as thoroughly and regularly as expected in apartments that claim 5-star status, but in general, everything is not bad. The service is excellent, and if you don’t like the room, they will give you several other options to choose from.
If you go by the average rating in other people's reviews and descriptions of the hotel "Crystal Paraiso Verde Resort" (Belek), it is quite consistent with its level, except that it is separated from the sea by a river. Otherwise, this is a good resort for a family holiday.
Nutrition

This is not all that the hotel has on such a large territory, but all vacationers unanimously say that everything here is done so that a person forgets about the sea at the height of the season or finds something to do to his liking in the off-season. Cleanliness, neatness and comfort are the hallmarks of this place, where everyone can find their own favorite corner and spend time there with friends or family.
A lot of greenery, coolness from the pools, fountains, lawns for sports - all this is the territory of the Crystal Paraiso Verde Resort (Belek). Even the best description cannot convey the aromas of flowers mixed with the smell wafting from the eucalyptus groves. It’s better to see the beautiful palm trees once and plunge headlong into the blue coolness of the pool on a hot day than to read about how others do it.
Hotel beach
What can I say, the coastline, which is located 400 meters from the hotel, disheartens many of its guests, and there is a reason for this:
- A river flowing into the sea may arouse interest and even create some kind of romance, but in fact it causes some inconvenience. Fresh water, mixing with sea water, makes it cloudy and constantly changes heat. This way you can enter a warm and gentle sea, but come out of quite cold water, which “doesn’t hurt your teeth.” Married couples with children are especially not happy about this prospect, although even in this case you can find places where the sea is calm, clear and warm, you just need to move away from the confluence of the river with it.
- There are sun loungers, mattresses and umbrellas on the beach, but they stand 50 meters from the water, which many vacationers, especially from the CIS countries, do not like. There’s nothing you can do about it, the Turks love and protect their nature and for the sake of the convenience of tourists they won’t change anything, because Caretta-Caretta turtles leave their eggs in the sand on this beach. They settled on this coast long before people appeared here. Dissatisfied tourists will have to come to terms with the fact that in Turkey, the rights and protection of animals and natural protected areas are not empty words, but a way of life.
- Many vacationers (immigrants from the CIS countries) mention dirt on the beach in their reviews, and this, unfortunately, is not an isolated case. Perhaps, there is also the fault of the hotel guests themselves, who bury cigarette butts or waste in the sand, which is completely unacceptable for Europeans and the Turks themselves. What you definitely need to take with you on vacation to Turkey, Belek, Hotel Crystal Paraiso Verde, are flip-flops for going into the sea. There are pebbles there that can hurt your feet.
When buying a ticket to this hotel, you should know that the entry into the sea on its beach cannot be called gentle, and the depth begins after just a few steps. Parents with children should be careful.
Entertainment at the hotel
Considering the river as a barrier to the beach, the regular change in temperature of the water in the sea, turtles nesting on the shore, and not too clean sand, the owners of the hotel "Crystal Paraiso Verde", Belek (reviews confirm this) invested the maximum amount of money in the arrangement of its territory and entertainment so that the guests do not lack anything.

- To stay energetic all day, sports animators conduct aerobics classes in the open area. What could be better than doing exercises while inhaling air saturated with the sea and the aroma of eucalyptus.
- Two tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, billiards and bowling, bicycles and ping-pong for the most active clients.
