Tenerife has excellent conditions for classic surfing. Waves from the north, north-west, south and south-east come here. Surfing has been practiced in Tenerife since the 60s.

Diving
Despite the location of the Canary Islands, the coastal waters are relatively cool for this latitude thanks to the cold Canary Current. Therefore, you will not find coral reefs here. But local diving is attractive due to its underwater volcanic landscapes and the special spirit of the ocean, which cannot be felt in the “overloaded” Red Sea.
The most interesting dive sites are located near the southernmost tip of the island (Las Galletas), on the southeast and southwest coasts. The coastal area within the Playa de las Americas resort will not cause any emotions other than disappointment. And in the north, although there are very decent places, diving is not very popular due to unstable weather.
ATVs
You can ride along the volcanic off-road on a four-wheeled motorcycle (quad bike) in the Quad Park. The duration of standard walks is 35 minutes, 1 hour 15 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes (including lunch).

Camels
Camel Park in LOS Cristianos - offers one-hour cross-country camel rides daily, from 10:00 to 17:00.
The park is located between the villages of Chayofa and La Camella, approximately 3.5 km from the motorway on the TF-28 road: exit no. 27 from TF-1.
You can get to the park by car or taxi, as well as by free “branded” bus from Las Americas and Los Cristianos.
Camel Park is far from the only place in the south (and especially on the island) where they offer camel riding.
Another farm - La Casa del Camello - is located 5 km west of Las Americas, in the town of El Puertito.
Golf

If you speak English, then Playa de las Americas will be the most suitable place for you to practice your language, since most of the people there speak English, plus the music coming from the bars will seem familiar to you - American hits. But it is far from the nightlife capital for the Canarian population. Young and free
In the Playa de las Americas area and close to the famous C.C. Veronica's is the place! The local bars are not as seedy as people imagine. In fact, the bars are modern, lively, full of unbridled fun, especially for guys under 25. From here it is easy to get to clubs like Tramps, where regularly Guests include the world's leading DJs.
Baby Boomers
And again, Playa de las Americas will help you enjoy your favorite and, most importantly, familiar live music. People aged 40 and over can relive their university years by listening to the music of the time in the bars that line the street and make up the so-called "The Patch" and Parque de la Paz. Home to millions of live music bars, Tina Turner, Neil Diamond, Billy Idol and Rod Stewart never go out of style. Luckily, there are plenty of places where musicians keep their playlists up to date with the creations of bands like the Black Eyed Peas and the Kings of Leon.
The most frequently visited and favorite places are Shenanigans, where the music is elevated to an intellectual level; the Bulls Head is a place for rockers; Soul Suite - for fans of the wards of the recording company Motown Records. Plus, the recent opening of the Hard Rock Café on Playa de las Americas has only strengthened the place's position as Tenerife's premier nightlife hub.
University scenery
La Laguna rarely appears in the same sentence as the words "Tenerife" and "nightlife", yet it is home to a university and yet part of the metropolis where the largest part of the Canarian population lives. Everyone knows that where there are students, there are eclectic bars, and La Laguna is no exception. In the center of the former capital of Tenerife there is a triangle of streets, where there is a huge number of great bars, where no tourist has set foot, but where a student has definitely been. There is even one bar where beards are especially welcome, and the bar is appropriately named Barbas. It is not surprising that you can listen to live music here too. Even Echo & the Bunnymen performed in La Laguna and it didn't cost a cent.
Early risers
Outside the southern resorts of Tenerife, nothing interesting in the bars starts until midnight, which is completely unsuitable for those who want to drink surrounded by locals. Rent to the Noria area - an ideal transit point! In the early evening it is simply a huge number of street cafes, the constant noise of incessant conversations of stylish townspeople, but by the end of the working day this place takes on new colors. When darkness falls, the main action moves to rooftops, terraces and chic places like Mojos y Mojitos and Los Reunidos.
South American beat
South America has greatly influenced Tenerife, as many families have relatives on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Some members of the population are known as "Indianos" - emigrants who made their fortune in Venezuela or Cuba, who then returned to the Canary Islands and invested their wealth here. As a result, sizzling Latin beats are becoming more prevalent at each festival. This applies to bars and clubs where the main music is most often reggaeton and the main dances are salsa and merengue, and it is unlikely that it will be otherwise. There is one very cool Latin club in Puerto de la Cruz, which many European guests do not know; here you can dance to your heart's content, but only Latin dances. Except it opens by the time many of us are already getting to our hotels. In some parts of the city, it can be much more crowded at 3am than at 3pm. The "hottest" place is Azucar, located in an atmospheric colonial building. This is a dark and exciting Cuban bar with an atmosphere of intensity and passion - definitely not for the faint of heart.
Gay clubs and bars
Avenida Familia Betencourt y Molina in Puerto de la Cruz is the most LGBT-like place in Tenerife. There are several bars and clubs along the street, which displays every color of the rainbow. One of the best bars is Vampis, regardless of your sexual beliefs.
