You need to cross a one-way street and through a park with beautiful fountains to the sea. Sun beds and umbrellas are paid - 2 euros. People just lay towels on the sand. In my opinion the beach is too advertised. In the same Side or Bodrum entry into the sea is better. On the famous Cleopatra Beach there is sand only on the shore, and then a slippery stone slab 3-4 meters wide at the bottom and deep. Considering that the surf is quite strong and can knock you off your feet, I think that going into the sea is uncomfortable. Still, there are thousands of people on the beach. The sun is hot, the sea is warm. Now about the hotel. From Antalya to Alanya it takes about three hours by bus. Our plane was delayed for two hours, so we didn’t get to the hotel until one o’clock in the morning the next day. By the way, Royal Flight does not feed you, they only give you juice to drink. So we missed lunch and dinner, it’s night, we want to check in. - Eh, friend, we have to go, the room is being cleaned. - How much to wait? - Two hours - Are you crazy! We want to sleep! - No number yet. There is nothing to do - we begin to wait. And at the reception there are other people besides us. And then I understand that they arrived before us and are also waiting for our number. In short, check-in was a mess (by the way, mess in Turkish means glass). I won’t bore you - we were still accommodated and even had a sea view, as we had ordered. Lucky. For some reason there weren’t enough rooms and people were temporarily accommodated in a neighboring hotel! This tradition continued for several days and stunned compatriots wandered around neighboring hotels!! According to my observations, foreigners were treated more loyally, while Russians had problems with settling in. The food is quite decent, as they like to write in reviews - you won’t leave hungry. One bar on site near the pool. The only strong drink is vodka. Of course beer, wine, cocktails. Ice cream is served in the evening. There is no animation. Once a dance group came and danced Turkish dances. Wi-fi only works in the lobby. Outside the hotel there are plenty of cafes and shops. Exchangers. Hotel guide Maria (Sunmar, Coral) will introduce you to the excursion program. There is an ancient fortress on the mountain next to the hotel; you can get there by cable car. The mountain offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. Under the mountain at the end of the beach there is a cave with stalactites. I recommend visiting. Overall the impression of the hotel is good. The problem with settlement was temporary. I will answer your questions.

The hotel is not bad, but it is not 5*, of course. The food is quite normal, the cleaning is daily, but not thorough - our floors have not been washed in 10 days. It is very difficult to find a place by the pool, even at the children's pool, everything is occupied by European pensioners from 9 am. Overall it’s ok for the money, but I would give it 3.5-maximum 4 stars. Don't even wait for luxury!

Very good hotel. 1. The territory and location are excellent, everything is very conveniently located. There is a lot of different greenery inside. The hotel is located on a “cliff”, so you can walk out of the hotel and a completely different view will open from the other side of the sea. 2. Nutrition. We took dinner + breakfast. And everything was very tasty, the menu was varied, the choice was huge. All products are fresh. 3. Rooms "bungalows with access to the garden". Also very cool. The hotel is mainly used by elderly Europeans, but we liked it - it was very calm and quiet. It’s very cool that there weren’t so many Russians.

Cozy, homey, a little dirty in some places, but that doesn’t make it worse! Yes, obviously not 5*, the furniture is old, but the service is good, room cleaning, towels and bed linen are flawless. Large, green, well-groomed area. The staff is friendly, smiling and very efficient, without additional monetary incentives (this is not the case everywhere!) And they checked us in not at 2:00 pm as is customary, but at 8:00 am, which was very pleasing. The menu is no frills, but you won’t go hungry, and if you’re traveling with a child, I think you won’t have any problems feeding your child, there’s always porridge for lunch in the morning, soups, plenty of fruit, ice cream. We didn’t even stay at the hotel, rented a car, drove around the island, went on all sorts of excursions, and every time the hotel gave us “lunch boxes” to take with us on the road, so nice! As I understand it, many did the same, so there weren’t many people at lunch, but at breakfast and especially at dinner there were problems with seating. But this can also be solved if we come to the opening or, conversely, to the closing of the “dining room”. As for the beach and the entrance to the sea, there were no problems. The stones in the water are large, smooth, you can easily step on them, or walk around them, since the water is clean and transparent. There are a lot of sun loungers and umbrellas, there are always free ones. If you don’t like the beach at all, not far from the hotel there is a cove with a small sandy beach; you can go down there along steep stone steps, which is what many do. The weather at the end of September and beginning of October is already unstable, sometimes hot, sometimes cold wind from the sea. We managed to splash around in the sea a little, then it got very stormy and everyone moved to the pools (they have sea water). True, pensioners from the European Union are like occupiers, all the sun loungers by the pool are covered (booked) with their own towels early in the morning :))))) they are very nice, funny! In the evening, the same pensioners move to a bar near the administrative building and it is impossible to find free seats, and there is nothing to do there! There are animators, the guys try, they entertain as best they can. During the day, volleyball, water aerobics, yoga, Pilates, ping-pong. In the evening there is a children's disco, and then something for adults, either a Greek evening with songs and sirtaki, or a music quiz, or an evening of humor. There are several “VIP” houses on the hotel grounds with small private pools; ordinary guests are not allowed to enter there, although, to be honest, everything is the same there, only behind a fence :))) Despite the end of the season, the hotel was 100% full, this also says a lot!

Greetings dear travelers! I vacationed with my son (5 years old) at Aldemar Knossos Royal from 02.06 - 14.06.2017. The impressions are only the most positive! We lived in room 105, located in my opinion very well - not far from the pool and restaurant of the main building, but also away from the “main street”, so it was quiet, as we asked upon arrival, it was very nice that our wishes were taken into account. The room is quite spacious, the furniture is not new, but everything functions. There were never any problems with lighting or plumbing. Since we lived on the first floor, we had a terrace with a table and three chairs, picturesquely fenced with neatly planted bushes. The hotel area is beautiful, large and well-groomed. It’s a pleasure to walk and admire the views! A lot has been written about nutrition, in short - there is always something to choose and what to feed your child. Varied, tasty. We had all inclusive meals. I liked dinner at the Artemis tavern; it was especially nice that the chef personally came out to greet the guests. We swam at sea mainly in the lagoon, which is located to the right of the hotel behind the amphitheater. The hotel has a small pebble beach, the entrance to the sea is not very convenient for children, since there are stones and a slab. This is why I decided to write this review, in order to express gratitude to the hotel staff. All these wonderful people create a wonderful atmosphere of goodwill and hospitality. Special thanks to the animation team! Guys, you are the best in your business, I have something to compare with, since I’ve been to many places with my child. Thanks again to all the hotel staff, the vacation was a success and I didn’t want to leave at all, which is significant and even more significant is that the child asks to come here again. We initially booked and were supposed to stay at the aldemar khossos hotel, but we were accommodated at the aldemar royal mare 5* hotel. There were 3 hotels nearby. The hotel is luxurious, everything was Fine. Aldemar royal mare 5* is a high-class hotel, it has luxurious architecture, as pleasing to the eye as music. The only bad thing is there is no entertainment there. It was very boring there, there was nothing for young people to do there at all, there were no discos or anything. There was a woman resting there with two young daughters, we met, they were generally bored there. This is certainly not a vacation for young people. This is an expensive hotel for couples for people who are over 40 years old and above; a lot of people vacation there with children. The beach there is pebbly, I can rate the beach 3 C+. Vacationed in Egypt, Dana beach hotel. The hotel is good. To be honest, it's boring in Egypt. Well, it’s just that the overall impression is boring, that’s all.
