Feliz verano Crimea Koktebel. Hotel Feliz Verano. Accommodation of children and provision of extra beds

We vacationed in Feliz Verano (Koktebel village) in August 2019, it was the most terrible vacation of my life! My comparisons are based on the experience of 2016, we also lived in a 3* hotel in Alushta, Crimea, so I consider my review to be objective. On the positive side: a swimming pool on site with daily water changes, proximity to the sea, modern interior and design uncharacteristic for Crimea). From the negative: 1. Wi-Fi is almost not working (except in the early morning, when everyone is apparently sleeping) 2. Absence of the OWNER throughout the hotel: almost all the sun loungers are cracked, minor repairs are needed everywhere, tiles have fallen off in places in the pool, in the bathroom at night there is a terrible smell of sewage, the leaking watering can in the shower was never replaced (they are clearly in short supply in Crimea), a huge sun lounger by the pool with pillows for some reason without a roof, etc. 3. Terrible inedible food: all food is prepared from obviously stale products, especially this applies to meatballs, cutlets, casseroles with meat, etc. I myself am a food production technologist and I declare with full confidence: this amount of pepper in food can be explained either by the lack of taste buds and brains in cooks, or by low-quality and stale products (perhaps both options are suitable). All that remains is to learn from the chefs working there 10 ways to ruin a dish - these are overcooked fried eggs, burnt cheesecakes, pancakes that are dry from overcooking, lazy cabbage rolls that look like charcoal, borscht without beets, etc. The service staff, who bring and order food, are not embarrassed by the hotel guests and their children, swear like cobblers among themselves, serve for a long time even though there are a lot of them, replace the dish without approval and then blatantly lie about what was not noted on the menu. Instead of a baked chicken thigh, they bring a baked soup set. The tea and coffee, judging by the taste and smell, were brewed with tap water, it’s not surprising that we also got poisoned there, it rinsed for 2 days. For all the days there was not a single fruit, not even a single cut watermelon, and dairy products were presented in the form of condensed milk on pancakes and ice cream in the refrigerator that stank of fish. This is a SHAME on the hotel service and it’s a terrible shame to spend money on this cheap gruel. My advice to all tourists: if something difficult takes you there, take a room without meals, and you will also save money, because you will still have to buy normal food at local markets. My advice to the hotel owners: fire all this crap called waiters, feed the cooks their own “delicious” food (or better yet, pay them in their grub), make a normal distribution and put the kitchen in order, at least in accordance with SANPIN, so that people are are sure that their dinner is not made from lunch leftovers!
