Towns and tridents
Historically, Club Med resorts are called "towns" (French). village), this emphasizes that guests do not end up in a hotel, but in a whole self-sufficient resort complex. The level of comfort in Club Med, unlike ordinary hotels, is indicated not by stars, but by one or another number of tridents (the trident of the ancient sea deity Poseidon is one of the symbols of Club Med). Currently, guests can choose accommodation with a comfort level of three, four or five tridents. The level of “5 tridents” may not correspond to the entire resort, but to its separate zone, called the “quarter”. Guests of the ultra-comfortable “quarter” enjoy a higher class of accommodation, exclusive lounges and a wider range of services.

Trigano was the man who invented the golden formula all inclusive, replacing the approach of “minimum comfort and maximum activities” with the concept of “maximum comfort for activities,” that is, relaxing in a premium hotel where you can sail or ski the slopes - and this will be included in the price of your stay. Today, the world leader in the premium all-inclusive holiday industry associates its most ambitious plans for the next few years with the ski holiday segment, which the first owners of Club Med began to develop in 1956: the chain’s resorts settled in the main ski regions of Europe, and every year in the Alps (French, Italian and Swiss) one Club Med ski resort with luxury villas and chalets will open. The route has been built

The Grand Massif has 264 km of slopes and more than 100 km of continuous cross-country ski trails, and what’s nice is that you can directly ski to the ski lifts from the hotel. At Club Med this option is called ski-in/ski-out. At the same time, both skiers and snowboarders of absolutely any level will enjoy skiing here: 20 green slopes, 64 blue, 50 red and 14 black - for the super desperate extreme sports enthusiasts. Ski pass and training are included in the price, as are French breakfasts, lunches and dinners from top chefs.
