Novosibirsk webcams. Web cameras zoo Novosibirsk zoo polar bears camera

Defenders of the bear wrote dozens of letters to various officials, even reaching the Kremlin. And not so long ago we met face to face with the management of the zoo. At the meeting, a warning was sounded from director Rostislav Shilo: “I will turn off the webcam in the enclosure with polar bears!” After all, the majority, looking at the suffering of the polar bear Gerda, yearning for her cub, wrote comments under the broadcast, sometimes not finding words. In response to online insults, the zoo put the threat into action: the webcams that showed the world the life of polar bears were turned off.

Please turn on the cameras! And you can turn off “comments,” polar bear fans voice a new request. Moreover, some zoo fanatics live in another city. - There are much more people who were silent and watched the life of the bears than those who are swearing here. The children were already used to it; they watched the broadcast every day. We don't have such a zoo in our city...

Novosibirsk activists met with the management of the zoo. Andrey KOPALOV

There is such an ancient wisdom: “People are offended only by the truth,” - Lyudmila Kozachenko is ready to argue with this opinion. - And if the management, offended, turned off the cameras, does it mean that some “comments” hit the eye rather than the eyebrow? It is a pity, of course, that adults cannot agree among themselves. What example are we setting for children and animals? And although I am not a resident of Novosibirsk, I won’t ask and whine: “Turn on the camera, please.” They showed us bears - thank you very much. Stopped - well, let's do other things.

Among the comments under the switched off broadcast, there are some completely original ones. For example, some believe that her boyfriend Kai was allowed into the enclosure of the polar bear Gerda, and cupid and censorship intervened in the matter.

The bears are mated, says Yulia Kosach. - If there was a first date, and they didn’t break up, now the bears have Honeymoon and sex. They won't show us this.

But as the director of the zoo, Rostislav Shilo, told KP, Gerda and Kai’s date will take place after the New Year. And deputy director Olga Shilo admitted that the menagerie staff were simply tired of reading negative reviews about their work under the broadcast.

The bear is lying down, everyone writes: “Oh, she feels bad, she’s lying down!” The bear is walking - they write: “Oh, she’s worried, she’s walking abnormally,” says Olga Shilo. “Everyone, sitting at home, watches the video from the cameras and reproaches: “You’re not cleaning the enclosure properly, and you’re talking on the phone, but you haven’t washed that corner properly.” And constantly these discussions and comments. And the people who work with bears have higher education, with more than 10 years of work experience, by the way. Do you think they are pleased when someone they know says: “Today we saw how you were discussed, in what form you are a pool of soap”? Employees have been asking us for a long time: “Please turn off the cameras,” because it’s unpleasant for them.

And it seems that the zoo management complied with the request of its subordinates. But the public remained unheard - the menagerie firmly decided: the bear cub would still be sent for permanent residence overseas. There was no place for him in Russia. Or rather, money for this place and a new enclosure.

Komsomolskaya Pravda is following developments.
