Forest Park, Zadonsk: description and reviews. Description of the Foresta Festival Park Hotel What is personal data

I have an unusual profession - a journalist, but I am busy, like most representatives of the working population, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. Therefore, I try to use my weekends for the benefit of my soul and body, visiting the bathhouse, cinemas, cafes or traveling outside my hometown. Fortunately, there are a lot of interesting things in Voronezh and neighboring regions. For those who prefer active recreation, it makes sense to go to the rope town “Forest Park”.

Adrenaline, drive, delight - such emotions are caused by such entertainment. Overcoming yourself at a height of ten meters is remembered for a long time. After I visited Forest Park for the first time, my friends and I started conversations for a long time with the words: “How did you then get on a bike/walk on a tightrope/ride a troll... Now I can’t believe I did it.”

general information

Rope towns are popular all over the world. In our country they began to open 6-8 years ago. In the Central Black Earth Region there is only one rope town of the same scale as in the Zadonsk district of the Lipetsk region. It was built in 2010. There are currently six routes:

  • “Lesovichok” (for children 3-8 years old, 7 stages).

    • “Lookout” (10 stages).

    • "Adrenaline" (11 stages).
    • “Fun Extreme” (10 stages).
    • "Spider" (10 stages).

Men and women weighing no more than 110 kg and children over 14 years of age are allowed on adult routes. They are designed for different levels of physical fitness.

There is free parking in front of Forest Park, and there are cafes and toilets on its territory.

    Issue price

Each Forest Park route is paid separately. Do not rush to buy tickets for everything at once, because on earth it seems that there is nothing terrible in the tests.

I recommend that representatives of the stronger half of humanity start with the “Fun” route. What is so “fun” about it, I will tell you below. It’s better for beautiful ladies to try their hand at the Observation. If you pass it with dignity, then go ahead to the next adventures!

The cost of tickets for routes varies and is:

    • “Lesovichok” - on weekdays and weekends 100 rubles.
    • “Observation” - on weekdays 150 rubles, on weekends 250 rubles.
    • “Vesely” - 200 rubles on weekdays, 300 rubles on weekends.
    • “Adrenaline”, “Fun Extreme” and “Spider” - 250 rubles on weekdays, 350 rubles on weekends.

    Preparation

Before going to conquer the heights, everyone thirsting for thrills undergoes instructions.

At the rental point you will be given a protective helmet and a safety rope. It consists of two locks connected by a strong cord.

Out of the habit of a Russian person, I doubted his reliability and tried to perform each task as carefully as possible, so as not to fall and hang on the belay. However, the assumptions regarding its quality factor, fortunately, turned out to be incorrect. My friend lost her balance on the rope and ended up in the air on the rope. She couldn't pull herself up. As a result of the help of park employees, the girl waited for 15 minutes, and nothing bad happened to her. But it must be said that it weighs quite a lot - 90 kg.

So, we gather our will into a fist, stop looking at others already screaming/crying/laughing between the trees, and listen carefully to the instructor. He will not only tell you, but also demonstrate the correct behavior on the routes.

Without fail, you will be asked to repeat the procedure with the safety rope in order to make sure that you finally remember the “material”.

Insurance at Forest Park is double. The first is similar to mountaineering, that is, a person independently fastens the carabiner on the route. The second insurance is continuous. The ropes course instructors are responsible for it. They fasten the client to a common safety line, from which he will not be able to unbuckle himself until the end of the route.

    Tests at Forest Park

The stages in the rope town are different: ropes, ladders, bungees, nets, logs and even bicycles and toilets (!). The “Vesely” route, which I already mentioned, has 11 stages. Among them are swinging bridges, various ladders, and ropes. But the main “fun” is provided by the instructors, who constantly play cruel jokes on the frightened clients. By the way, it is considered a moderately difficult route.

Each stage begins on a wooden platform and ends with it. The main rule is not to enter the stage while there is a person there. As soon as he passes it and enters the platform, it is the turn of another participant. Please comply with these requirements. Your safety depends on them.

For me, the most difficult thing was the bike. It is a means of transportation familiar to us, but standing on a thin cable. As soon as I imagined that I would have to cover the distance on a two-wheeled friend practically hanging in the air, I panicked.

The instructors added fuel to the fire by shouting: “Girl, of course he will fall!” By the way, such “encouraging” words make up the vocabulary of Forest Park employees. Mostly, young guys work there, cheerful and active, who clearly enjoy such communication. After crying, I finally decided to get on the bike, and when I got to the site, I laughed: “It’s no big deal!”

The final stage of all troll routes. You jump down and roll along a 50-meter rope.

I liked it very much. And on the “Merry Extreme” route you do it on Baba Yaga’s broom. When landing, try to land gently on your feet. Even if it doesn’t work out, don’t worry - you won’t get hurt, the force of the blow will be absorbed by the mat on the tree.

    Additional entertainment

In addition to the ropes course itself, Forest Park has small and large trolley slopes with a length of 250 and 350 m, respectively. The cost of both is 250 rubles. You can purchase a combined descent - there along the large descent, back along the small one. In this case, the ticket price will be 350 rubles.

We vacationed with children from July 17 to July 20. We took a superior room - the room is large, but attic, there is no balcony. There was a musty smell in the bath; in general, the water smelled something. They gave me a kettle as promised. The TV didn't work, it was an old tube TV, apparently they didn't connect the digital TV. But we didn't need it. I liked the lunches, everything was home-cooked and delicious. There was always mashed potatoes, several types of meat and there was fish twice in a row. Desserts are mediocre and not tasty vegetables without assortment. Great respect to the cook, but not to the pastry chef.. alas.. The breakfasts are very mediocre, the same thing, but delicious and always different cereals! We didn't buy dinner; we dined in the hotel restaurants. We liked the restaurant on the 3rd floor. Dinner for 3 with drinks cost 2,500 rubles. It wasn't cheap, but it was tasty and satisfying. Dinner at the Summer Cafe, where they grill shish kebab, cost the same, but the portions are small, although delicious. It was disappointing that the pool is paid even for hotel guests. For three they paid 1000 rubles. every day is expensive, from Friday to Sunday it’s generally 700 rubles per person. Also, the SPA is before lunch, it’s full of people, but when we arrived after 15:00 there was no one, but we had to pay 350 rubles per person. It's kind of unfair. I was very pleased with the zoo; we bought carrots in the restaurant and fed the animals every day. The area is small, generally boring and expensive, there is nothing to do there for more than 3 days. I'm glad that there is a minimarket within a 3-minute walk where you can buy something to eat and sweets for children. On Friday and Saturday, weddings are actively celebrated there and there are a lot of people. For a mid-week vacation for a few days, it’s a good option, but not longer.

Good afternoon We stayed at the Foresta Festival Park hotel from 03/07/2019 to 03/10/2019. The luxury room cost us 30 thousand rubles, the price included meals and a visit to the spa complex. The room is terrible: - strong smell of bleach, which did not disappear even after 3 days! My husband joked that maybe someone had been killed in the room before us and they carefully washed away their traces! -colossal audibility of neighbors. a couple was resting behind the wall on March 8, they made a lot of noise, but if during the day this did not bother us, then at night, due to the man’s snoring, my husband and I practically did not sleep! I couldn’t even believe that snoring was coming from the next room, it felt like a man was snoring in my ear... I’ve never seen anything like this!!! Visiting the spa complex was limited in time: 3 hours a day and only until 15-00, after which you had to pay extra. Accordingly, until 14-00 there were a lot of people in the complex. There weren’t enough lockers for everyone; things had to be left in a bag either on a chair or on the floor. The spa complex began to function normally closer to the paid time. Saunas are cool in the morning. No one is watching the children and there are no entertainment programs for them. The kids were bored, they had to play in the adult pool, they took a running jump into it from either side of the board. The caretaker only made sure that people wore hats, because they were paid, and he was not interested in the disorder. I have nothing against kids, but if you went to rest and relax for a couple of days, this is not the right hotel. It’s a pleasure to swim; I haven’t been able to swim without splashes and children flying at me! The food is normal, but without excess: pasta, potatoes, meat, vegetables... drinks tea, coffee compote. Just from the “you can eat” category. There are no juices at all, not even packaged ones... Alcohol is not included, you will have to pay for a glass of wine or beer, and it’s not cheap! There is no entertainment at all! The hotels do not provide leisure facilities for guests. There are slot machines for children: half of them do not work; in order to change a token, you need to have money with you, about 100 rubles. with a banknote - the machine does not accept other money. We poked around at these machines for a long time, they glitched and broke down, it was difficult to find those responsible, after a long search a security guard from the shooting range helped us. There is tubing on the territory, well, it’s not a special slide that was built or poured, but just a slope from a mountain among the trees, well at least they put a net at the end of the slope... There is also a skating rink, but at the time that we were there it wasn’t relevant. Everything about entertainment... not even bicycles for rent! And everything, absolutely everything is paid! So that you understand the level: in a luxury room for 30,000, even disposable shower caps are paid for! To ride down the slide you need to pay for a cheesecake, for skates you also need to pay, to treat yourself to drinks you need to pay... As for the free entertainment on March 8, we were offered exercise in the morning and in the evening there was a disco in the restaurant and a girl sang. (the children seemed to be making Origami) On March 9, we were offered a paid foam party with drinks: from 21-00 to 23:15 we sat in the pool and watched the organizers repair the foam machine, without waiting and with a spoiled mood we were forced to go to our room to sleep ! We did not get the promised drinks as their quantity was limited. The hotel administration not only didn’t apologize, they didn’t even hesitate to include 1,500 in our bill for the “super party.” The girls at the reception, led by the administrator, are incredibly rude. They barked at us from head to toe from check-in and check-out. So that you understand, to the question “is there a schedule for March 8” when checking in at 7 at 20-30, I received the answer: “From where? Don’t you know that today is still 7? Come tomorrow morning, it will be!” And so the conversation went on all weekend... The ladies were unfriendly, rude and always busy... the girls never heard of smiling to visitors and wishing them a good day, or this service was also paid and was not included in the price of the suite! They will also refuse you any help! I had an unpleasant situation, a young couple with a baby was using hot water for baby food in the spa, there was only cold water in the cooler, they were refused in my presence. We don't have hot water, they answered at the bar. The girl was asked to warm up half a glass for her, at least in the microwave; the answer was “there is no microwave either.” There is tea in the bar for 350 rubles, apparently to solve the problem, the couple needed to buy boiling water for the price of tea... I don’t know how the story ended... In general, until you tell me the hotel number and sign a check in 2 copies with They won’t talk to you much there! In my presence, a woman had to go naked to the reception from the spa in order to be sold a disposable shower cap; unfortunately, they couldn’t give signatures on receipts! Complete absurdity! This complex brought us a lot of unpleasant moments and impressions. Morning exercises and Maslenitsa, thanks to them, made me smile for a couple of minutes. And only these people smiled at us and greeted us. But where everything is neglected and terribly, alas, 4 good people are unable to change anything. We ourselves will not return there again under any circumstances and I can’t recommend it! If this complex is located near you and you want to swim, then just come for a couple of hours to the spa complex, in general, during the paid time after 15-00, spend a couple of hours there, you can have time, BUT don’t check in, don’t waste money and don’t spoil yourself weekend! I have never had such a vacation for 43 thousand rubles in 3 days! It’s hard to even imagine that for that kind of money everything could be so bad...

    Alexander – Moscow

We arrived at this hotel on September 24, paid “full board”, upon check-in we were unpleasantly surprised that we had to pay 1,100 rubles for the pool on the day of check-in, which had never happened in any hotel where we had been before. Room 140 with a musty smell, I didn’t like it, the pool with muddy water, the plunge pool too, the food in the dining room is normal, worthy of 3 stars when compared with Turkey. There are notices everywhere, this is not allowed, that is not allowed, for all the fines, it looks comical. When checking in, the reception forces you to buy carrots for 50 rubles and feed the animals and other extras. All this is unpleasant, or rather disgusting. In my opinion, there were 6-8 people vacationing at the hotel. Obviously, the administration is trying to squeeze out as much money as possible from vacationers by any means necessary. All that remains is to put a mug at the reception desk with the inscription “serve for food”, it would be quite logical. Conclusion: the most crappy hotel, we have been to many places and have something to compare with, I do not recommend it to anyone! A spoiled holiday and disappointed expectations.

    Anastasia – Moscow

I visited Forest with a friend and we really liked it. We went here because our vacation was short, but we still wanted to relax and change the environment, so we chose a place closer to home. The nature here is very beautiful, you couldn’t imagine a better place for walking! Well, we also really liked the spa, all the procedures have such an effect on the skin and body that afterwards I walked around as if I had been reborn. Yes, the weather spoiled everything in the end, of course, but overall we were pleased.

    Victoria – Moscow

We had a weekend vacation with the whole family in Forest. Recommended by my son's friend. They rested here and were very pleased. Now we've got out. The husband and son are happy; from morning to night they ran with their paintball. I don’t even remember the last time they spent so much time together. I am so glad, because the boy is now going through a difficult period, a transitional age. And how I liked it. I spent the entire weekend at the Foresta SPA center, taking care of myself. They only gathered in the evening for dinner, where the boys vied with each other to tell how they shot at someone there. To sum it up, I’ll say that we really enjoyed our stay in Forest. The only thing I didn’t like was the room where we lived (I took it on my mobile phone). Everything seems to be clean and tidy, but it’s still somehow not cozy, there’s a feeling of some kind of institutionality. And one more thing - parking is not included in the price, a small thing, but unpleasant. All these ridiculous little things still failed to spoil the impression of a pleasant weekend.

    Angela – Fryazino

One day in June, our family had a chance to relax at the Foresta hotel complex. I’ll say right away that the vacation spot for the whole family is simply superb. My daughter spent the whole day at all kinds of playgrounds, of which there are many on the hotel grounds. There is also a zoo where you are allowed to feed the animals. Most of all she liked the “magic academy”. My husband also really liked it, although at first he groaned at how expensive it was. The hotel also has good cuisine and there are several restaurants. And I’m glad that our family spent several unforgettable days in nature; the nature outside the Moscow Ring Road turns out to be no worse than in central Russia. Now I recommend the Foresta Hotel to all my friends and relatives, I even decided to write here and didn’t waste my time.

    Elena – Moscow

I recently went with a friend (luckily we live nearby) and were very pleased. The most powerful impression is the SPA complex. We got a lot of pleasure from saunas and swimming. I was delighted. I liked the buffets, the varied dishes were delicious. We walked through the forest. The nature is cool and the air is clean and we breathed in for the whole year. And, probably, we were lucky - the service staff was attentive and friendly and therefore there were no problems with the service. I was glad that Wi-Fi was free and we had time to communicate with friends. The only thing we didn’t like was that parking was paid and the road to the hotel in our car was not in the best shape and therefore took us a lot of time. Otherwise, I liked everything!

    Alina – Moscow

Friends! Whoever writes about inflated prices in this hotel, apparently, has not vacationed in the Moscow region for a long time. You are unlikely to find a lower price tag anywhere now. Therefore, all that remains is to measure yourself, relax and rest. The hotel has a large green area, nature, fresh air. I can’t say that I don’t count money – that’s not true. But 6000 per night on a weekend for two, in my opinion, is the average price. Another thing is that this amount could include a few more services, well, at least parking! So, gentlemen, do not deceive yourself! For 2 thousand rubles you can only relax at your own dacha! Since I don’t have one, I’ll come here with pleasure. But already in winter.

    Elizaveta – Moscow

Great place for a family vacation! We traveled with children aged 5 and 9 years. The abundance of playgrounds + animation kept the children completely occupied, giving my husband and I the opportunity to spend time together - walking along forest paths, or swimming in the pool, for example. We lived in a standard deluxe room. I can't say anything bad. Clean. It’s better, of course, to buy drinking water, since the water in the tap looks suspicious). The food is good, there is always plenty of fresh fruit, the SPA center is excellent. I recommend Natasha’s massage to everyone, it’s like being born again), saunas, swimming pool. Everything was just great! Thanks for the vacation!

    Zhanna – Moscow

We decided to go spontaneously. The choice fell on this hotel based on geographical location. After reading numerous reviews we expected the worst. But when we arrived at the place, we were convinced that everything was not so bad. The hotel area is very spacious, with a lot of vegetation. We checked in quickly. Of the many services offered by the hotel, few used them, because they just wanted to unload emotionally. Except that we went to the sauna with great pleasure. Despite the fact that the menu is not very varied, we liked the food. Everything else was up to par. In the evening we listened to live music. We were delighted to go to the mini-zoo to look at the animals. There are about 7 deer here, and if they are near the wooden pen, you can even pet them. There are apples growing nearby that you can feed them with. True, the staff don’t like it, they say it gives them indigestion.)) In general, you shouldn’t be overzealous with feeding. Overall, the weekend was a great success!

    Nikita – Moscow

I went on a weekend trip with my girlfriend and rented a junior suite. All liked it. Breakfast and lunch are really okay. It's bad that dinner is not included in the price. But you can decide for yourself whether to eat a buffet or order dishes from the menu. Otherwise, I liked everything. Spa treatments, a swimming pool, we even played beach volleyball with a neighboring group) We liked the gazebos with barbecues; there is enough space. It’s also great to walk in the forest, the main thing is to apply insect repellent cream just in case. In general, to take a break from the city, one of the best options. We think we’ll go more often, even if it’s for the weekend, we’ll bring friends)

On May 3 we visited the Rope Town in Forest Park (Zadonsk). We went through the "Adrenaline" route, I especially want to pay attention to the stage of this route, which comes after the skate and is a ride along a block on a rope. As a result of this descent, I was injured (triple fracture of the ankle with displacement). My fault is that I voluntarily agreed to take the route in this park, where negligence exists at every step and no one is responsible for anything. In order. We paid money to a nice girl (or a girl who looked like a teenager) at the cash register; we were not given any receipts or tickets. The same girl put the gear on me. There are no specially designated places for things (well, there are lockers, for example), they threw their bags with money and documents directly into this house, which is called the cash desk. Next, a teenage boy gave our group of 4 people instructions. All the instructions were to re-hook the carabiners several times. Next, we began to walk the route. Teenage boys watched us with half an eye, sometimes telling us what to do. In the process, they turned away somewhere and left (as I understand, the number of “instructors” is less than the flow of people). The ill-fated descent down the block. Instead of a boy, a girl came and told me that I needed to sit down on the platform, push off, slide down, grab the rope at the end, nothing complicated. And now, I’m already flying at some unreal speed, I see a platform on which I apparently have to slow down. On the platform there is a mat, which for some reason does not lie on the entire platform and people brake not on the mat (as I later observed), but on the wooden platform. And that means I slammed into the wooden platform with all my speed, against the pieces of wood. Why was I driving at such great speed? Why isn't the entire braking distance covered with matting? Why didn't anyone stop me with a cable? Why didn't anyone see this happen? After the collision and fracture, I naturally could not climb onto the platform; I was thrown back along the rope. I was hanging on a rope, preventing people from passing the route. They gave me a rope so that I could pull myself up along it, then they forced me to climb down from the platform myself and dragged me to a bench. That's all. This is where all the participation of the organizers ended. They didn't help me, didn't ask how I was feeling and no one else came to me. Nobody. I had friends with me who asked me to let the car through to pick me up from this bench. But they were not immediately allowed to do this; even this had to be forced out. We went to a hospital nearby, they put a cast on, I asked if they had people from this park, they took me with a grin - “yes, they do.” So what is my mistake? My mistake is that I made life easier for everyone, cleared the route of myself and allowed myself to be scored on. I had to hang on the rope and call an ambulance in this very condition. Only in this situation could I prove something about how the injury was caused (otherwise there are no tickets, and I’m sure there are no cameras). Well, in the end, it’s possible that I received a displacement of the fracture when I was driven off the route. Well, in principle, the idea of the rope park itself is excellent, great emotions, but in a particular park the implementation is poor, negligence at every step. In addition, the infrastructure in this park suffers. Teenagers who work part-time there are shown that negligence is the norm and that there is no need to help people in trouble. People, learn not only from your mistakes, take care of yourself!

Rope courses have long been a popular sporting activity all over the world. Walking at high altitude on ropes and logs leaves an unforgettable experience. This type of extreme entertainment is loved by many. And recently these began to open in Russia. One of the largest and most popular was the Forest Park. Zadonsk, near which this town is located, is better known as a place of religious pilgrimages. Several large monasteries and holy water springs have long attracted tourists there. But in the last few years, this city has become a favorite holiday destination for young people and families with children.

    Where is Forest (park): Zadonsk

The address of this place can be easily found. This is the Utkinsky Otrez tract not far from Zadonsk. But you still need to figure out how to get to it, because it is located not in the city itself, but on the other side of the highway, in the forest. It's easy to find Forest Park by following the signs. The authorities are going to turn Zadonsk and its surroundings into a unique economic tourist zone. And its creation has already begun. Not far from the village of Kamenka, the Kudykina Gora safari park, already famous throughout Russia, was created. And 12 kilometers south of it there is also a “Forest” (park). Zadonsk is a small town, but it is becoming a favorite holiday destination, as it is located in an ecologically clean place. They go there from all over Russia, but most often from the nearest regions.

Getting to Forest Park in Zadonsk from Moscow is easy - the road is only 420 km. In addition, you need to constantly drive along the central road. Only after the bridge over the Don River you need to leave it. The park is located to the right of the highway, but you can only get to it through Zadonsk. If you have to ask for directions, it is located near the village of Verkhneye Kazachye.

    What is Forest Park (Zadonsk)

A photo of this place shows what picturesque landscapes can be seen there. The park is located in a forest on the banks of the Don River. But not only the beautiful pine forest and the Don banks attract tourists. You can have a good rest in the park both in summer and winter. Guests will find a comfortable hotel complex with 1-, 2- and 3-bed rooms. Vacationers are invited to visit the swimming pool, which also has a water slide, sauna, and gym. There is a cozy cafe with a delicious homemade menu.

In addition to the hotel, you can also stay in a tent camp. If you don't have your own tent, you can rent one right here. Tourist equipment can be rented within the park. You can put up a tent in any place you like. With your own equipment, the cost of living in the park is only 100 rubles per day per person. For this money you can use the services, bathroom and shower in the complex.

What entertainment does the park offer?

Very often, residents of neighboring regions go to Zadonsk to relax on weekends. The rope town "Forest" (park) is a place that attracts not only young people, but also families with children. After all, in addition to extreme relaxation, there are other entertainments here:

How to relax in the park

For those who want to stay in a hotel, it is advisable to book rooms in advance. After all, even on weekdays everything is most often busy. People come one by one, in families and in organized groups. The park often hosts corporate or entertainment events; you can celebrate a birthday or wedding, or hold a banquet. The rooms in the hotel complex are small but cozy. There is a refrigerator, TV and shower. But most tourists come here for one day.

    Rope town

About thirty thousand such places operate around the world. The best of them are located in trees. After all, these are natural supports for ropes and various devices. They are stable, moderately tough and provide protection from the sun. It is precisely such a town in a forest with mighty trees, between which rope routes are stretched, that offers a visit to the “Forest” (park). Zadonsk and its surroundings are located in a picturesque location on the banks of the Don. Therefore, you can come there just to enjoy the beautiful nature.

But the rope town is also a place worth visiting. This place has about 50 stages of varying difficulty, laid out from tree to tree. All of them are located at a height of up to 10 meters from the ground. The park offers three routes of varying difficulty, intended for adults and children over 10 years old. For beginners, they will offer to go through the easiest one - “Observation”. For experienced athletes, the “Adrenaline” route is intended, replete with complex extreme tasks. But the “Vesely” route is more popular. Both adults and children love to go through it.

What tasks does Forest Park (Zadonsk) offer in its rope town:

The most popular route in the rope town

Despite its popularity, it is still an extreme sport. Not everyone dares to walk on a rope over a ten-meter abyss. And those who decide, most often choose the “Merry” route. It is not as simple as Lookout, but it does not have very extreme tasks like Adrenaline. How does the route pass?
